The food was delicious and the portions generous. This was my first time here and may well become one of my favs when looking for a filling, home style meal with all the fixings!

Slider patty dry and no flavor. Green chili drowned the bun into a soggy mess. French fries were excellent. Wing sause good honey hot , wings themselves were dry. Fish and chips good. I have had take out here a few times. This was first time visiting the restaurant. Sat at bar bar tender very nice. Almost walked away due to not being greated when we walked in and waited to be directed to seat. I need to maybe give it another chance. Will update.

Local resident of Los Ranchos and been a regular at Dave's Bar and Grill since opening but unfortunately the quality of food has gone down over the last few months. I noticed the change a couple months after the other location opened and Dave seems to spend more time at the heights restaurant. Tonight we ordered the Salmon with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots with a salad and my wife got the meatloaf with the same sides. The cheddar green chilie biscuits were cold and bland, the salad lettuce was discolored and tasted old but I didn't say anything to our server. When the entrees arrived the meat loaf was luke warm and the Salmon was so fishy that I had to spit it out. I did tell the server about the fish and he offered a new piece but I told him this is so bad I don't want to try another but I will eat my mashed potatoes and carrots. I partially ate the sides and my wife only took a few bites from her plate. I certainly did not go out tonight to get a free meal but I would have expected to at least take my dinner price off the ticket. The waiter came to the table and said "my manager is going to remove the salmon" and I thought "of course he should" but simply said thank you. We paid our ticket and left but on the way home my wife said I am surprised they only took $5.00 off the bill. Again, not looking for anything free but upset that our dinner plans went south and we were served subpar food and salmon that you could smell as it set on the table the entire time until we cashed out. If I would have seen the bill prior to leaving I would have spoken to the manager because I should not have paid anything on my plate tonight. Very disappointed.

Nice layout and ample seating here. We arrived for lunch during the beginning of the week. The server was nice and helpful. Chips and salsa were crispy, thin and tasty: one highlight of lunch. We ordered a Hot Americano coffee and it was pretty decent, nicely pulled shots again a highlight. Finally we ordered the 4th Street Burgers. The candied jalapenos were pretty sweet. I added green chile but it was certainly lacking in some good NM heat. We did not receive any condiments (mayo, mustard or some sort or sauce to put on the buns)? The onion rings were nicely prepared. Bacon was perfect. My friend ordered his burger medium rare and I ordered mine medium. Unfortunately they were both pretty much made basically the same: well or slightly less than well done. Neither one of them had any real pink and one certainly did not arrive medium rare. The restaurant is pretty nicely styled. I give this visit 3.5 stars due to how burgers were requested and ultimately cooked and due to the lack of spice of the green chile. In my opinion, since the restaurant is in the historic North Valley, it only seems fair to have the green chile spicy as it should be. Nice place to visit and hang out none the less. I will try this place again to try other menu items. Prices are medium, regular.

Very very poor service. That one blonde server with a wrinkled faced who acts like she’s the only server there didn’t even show empathy nor apologized that we had to walk out because we were waiting for more than 10 minutes. Not even the drinks that we asked for was served. The 2 men that were seated after us already were enjoying their drinks. I’ve managed restaurants for several years. And this kind of service and behavior from staff is the worse I’ve ever seen.

Had dinner in lounge. Interesting atmosphere. Good drinks. Attentive server. I ordered pot roast. Very tender. The flavor was not as I had anticipated, did not care for it. The mashed a little stiff like paste and corn was very greasy. I will not order this again. It maybe just my preferences as I am very picky about food.
