Food is always great. Service is always very good. Although given the number of employees I think it could be better by a little bit. There are a lot very interesting posters and pics on the walls. However that doesn't disguise the fact that this is a repurposed fast food building. So Frank's appeal is in the food, friendliness, and friends. Last complaint is that only wings and nuggets are on the menu. I want thighs and legs. Having said all that, I still love Frank's.

Had a hankering for fried chicken so I googled and found Frank's Famous Chicken based on reviews. Easy to get to and they had a good variety on their menu. It is made up of southern, soul and some Louisiana influences in some of their dishes. I chose the naked wings, okra and cole slaw. No complaints. Everything met my expectations. Frank's Famous Chicken is an Albuquerque favorite and certainly has plenty of accolades. I was intrigued with the inside design and decorations. It seems Dave has a local connection to the music industry. I will refer you to their website. Let me tell you about Ozzie who was my server. This young lady has such an infectious bubbly personality! She is like a breath of fresh air. I was in town on business and I will say that the next time I am in town I will be back! Well done Dave!

Wow. Moved to NM from Gorgeous Prince George's County, MD. My wife grew up there and said the restaurant feels like it could be located in Bowie. The honey hot wings were scrumptulecent! The grits were hearty. The butter and syrup savory and sweet. The waffles hold syrup and butter and wrap around the chicken nicely. A Belgian Waffle Option would we swell. For the Owner, find "Taste of Belgium" in Cincinnati, OH. Hunty said the Nashville hot wings were perfect! Was pleased there were Mimosas of offer.

I was so excited to try this place as I had heard a lot of good things and live near by, however my experience was anything but that, sat there for over 10 minutes without being greeted by any server a table walked it right before the 8 minute mark and they got their drinks and food put in right away mind you I had a hungry baby with me, but it seemed like none of the servers wanted to serve on us because of that reason, when we finally got up because we weren’t gonna sit there like beggars all day the host said the server was about to walk to our table, barely?!! Sorry I don’t have time to sit here like I’m asking for scraps all day, how unfortunate because I tip really good but oh well saved myself some money, ended up picking up Wendy’s from up the street and I don’t plan on returning ??????????

Delicious food, great service! The food reminded me of New Orleans. The red beans and rice tasted just like mine. My husband was impressed by it. The okra was crispy and perfect... my daughter loved it! We will definitely be going back!
