“Le Trouquet offers a wide wine list and a well versed menu that is decadent, delicious and beautifully presented! The cozy atmosphere and the excellent service provided by Ashley has left the best impression. We will be coming back again and again.“
“Read all the earlier negative reviews from years ago and was hesitant to try this establishment, but I discovered after entering the place that it is now under new ownership and a new fantastic cook. The menu has been reduced but do not take that as a bad thing because the items on the new menu are exceptional. I had the sautéed Talapia and my wife had the Shrimp in Cream Sauce. Both were outstanding. We had our choice of slide vegetables and both selected the Asparagus. The stocks were slender from tip to base and cooked just right and very tender. Daniel, the cook even came out and wanted to know how well we like the meal. We told him the meal was excellent!!!“
“A must eat restaurant in ABQ. They do an amazing job at this restaurant in Nob Hill. The food is spot on and give diners lots of options. From the more adventurous dishes to the skinny burger, you won’t be disappointed. The staff is friendly, attentive & knowledgeable about the food and all around great. The wine list is concise and offers something for everyone and they now offer a cocktail program. ? highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Chef Jennifer has always had a strong grasp of vegetarian cuisine and puts heart into providing options for people.“
“I had the jambalaya which tasted good the French onion soup which was cold and the cheese was hard. My son where did the sirloin steak put mashed potatoes and broccoli. He enjoyed the broccoli time of the steak was cold can the potato gravy was too “
“The food shines here. The croissant au jambon is a perfect brunch sandwich. Cafe au lait is served somewhat awkwardly in a giant bowl. I’m never blown away by the service - it takes a while to get seated and to get your drink, even water or coffee.“
“I love going to this place in the afternoon and having appetizers, tasting wine, and talking with friends. They have a lovely selection of wine flights. Almost all the wines bearing the Lescombes name--their reserve wines--are wonderful but pricey. The 921 line is middle priced and good. I especially like the rose. The food is uniformly tasty. I especially like the shrimp jalapeño bacon appetizer and the charcuterie. The winery in Deming is also worth a visit. I believe the Lescombes family makes the best wine in New Mexico.“
