Workers are extremely rude!!!! Called to ask if I could order take out and the server was polite and took my order. I arrived and asked for my order and wait time and the bartender was ridiculously rude. Stated “I can’t give you a time, that’s why we don’t do take out” in a degrading tone as if I was magically supposed to know that. Waited over an hour to finally get my over priced food. Awful service, food was dry. Definitely do not recommend. Will get better food and service for the money you pay at a Panda Express.

The food has become so over priced.They charge $3.50 for fried rice for dinner. No other teppan grill does this.The food wasn’t that great. If you want this kind of food I recommend takumi across the street.

This place used to be great and fun but it's definitely not the same. The soup was overly hot, severely burned my tongue. The calamari was too chewy. Our cook scolded the waiter infront of us. I don't think that's ever ok to do..pull the coworker aside, don't do it in front of your customers. The cook was not very entertaining at all but we still gave him a good tip. They used to shoot saki in our mouth, guess they don't do that anymore. The food didn't even taste as good as it usually does. We spent almost $200 for 2 adults n 2 kids, definitely overpriced for what we got. The waiters were great though!

This is a family favorite but we went there at the request of our five year old for his birthday. We were very impressed with the attention that the chef paid to the children. The food was as always delicious and watching the preparation was a joy. Thanks to staff.

The quality of sushi dishes are dramatically falling down, we use to have seafood appetizer and Benton box for many years at prior location-Japanese kitchen, the price are going up but the quantity and quality are going down, I wonder if we will go back again?

I am so disappointed in Japanese Kitchen's new management. I have been coming here for lunch and dinner many many years. Today felt completely off, now noodles aren't offered, prices got raised quite a bit due to covid, but service sucked royal. Nobody to refill drinks, our chef who is the best they have wasn't his normal self and was extremely rushed, the show wasn't given super basic, food was OK, very rushed. We asked what was going on and we were told new management and now they are even timed.

I made a reservation for 7 on Tuesday November 2nd, we were completely ignored, then told to wait. They obviously didn’t prepare. Girl working the front was NOT friendly at all. She treated all guests disrespectful.We went to Takumi and were treated so much better!! Go to Takumi!

Food was good. Had two sushi rolls and scallops and shrimp. Drinks too. Bill came over $100. Price not too bad but not great either. Will go again if special occasion arises. Would not make this an everyday restaurant destination.
We got there and were first to be seated. Waited forever to have our orders taken. Appetizer of veg. tempura was flavorless. I ordered chicken and it was all grissle. When we were done, the waitress gave out free desserts to a few guests at the table but didn’t give everyone else their checks. We waited and waited and waited. It took 20 mins just to get the check paid as my husband had to actually walk it to the hostess. Then she didn’t even box people’s food up and took orders for another table instead. We then wait and waited and waited again for our receipt. It was the worst experience I’ve had in Albuquerque. The food is not worth it because their wasn’t even really a show. Just don’t go here.

My wife and I were passing through Albuquerque and wanted sushi, so we went to Japanese Kitchen, and we were pleased we did. First we shared the Baked Green Mussels which were excellent, then we had An Eel Roll, a Calamari Tempura Roll, Shrimp Tempura roll, and a Rainbow Roll. All the rolls were good.
