Fast and delicious service by the team today!!!! Zach was our waiter and it was so refreshing to be helped by someone who likes their job. He made helpful menus suggestions and everything was as delicious as he promised it would be. 10/10 would recommend. Top shelf margaritas are also “top shelf”

Steak was rubber and not a ribeye at all, tacos were trash. Enchiladas with chicken was unedible. The salsa tasted like someone poured way too much chile powder in it. No one could or wanted to eat any of it. This is not mexican food,its more like dollar general tv dinners.

Food is somewhat ok. Service is terrible. Our waiter told us he had 3 years of experience, but I guess not as a waiter he messed up our order big time. 5 plates out of 6 were wrong or with issues, wrong combos, burnt food. missing items. Etc, etc. unbelievable but true. He kept blaming the kitchen . Honestly, I think he was the issue. The manager gave us 25% off total Chek, but the experience was ruined already. My only good memory is the Sopapillas. Overall sad ?

Hello, I do not mean to be rude, which is why I did not leave a comment before, but I think it's really great that you are curious so you can make it better. I went with one friend and it wasn't busy at all but we ended up being there about 2 hours waiting for our food. When the food first came out, my friends order was wrong, so they brought it back, and it was still wrong, but she just decided to eat it anyway because we had been waiting so long. The food was not tasty at all. I was also excited about the natillas on Sunday (which is why I chose to eat there in the first place) but there was no mention at the end of service. I also walked by the kitchen to go to the restroom and it looked really dirty. My server was very friendly but that meant less and less as we stayed longer.
Firstly let's say that Rey, both our bartender and server was Extraordinary! ?Being a career bartender myself (26 years) expect a minimum amount of service. This man's professional demeanor and truly genuine care and attention to detail was above and beyond. Expedient, personal service with such attention to detail was second to none.An old college friend of mine whom I hadn't seen for about 20 years (Sarah) and I met for dinner at Los Cuates to fulfill age old cravings of their incredibly unique sweet salsa and fantastic margaritas. We were not let down by either, and that was just the beginning! She had a hankering for a New Mexico classic, huevos rancheros, *Christmas* of course, eggs over medium and I had to go for the undeniable combo de Antoinette. Beef taco, cheese enchilada and Chile relleno, also *Christmas*. ENTERING was SPECTACULAR! When Rey brought our plates out he noticed Sarah's potatoes were a bit "over done" he hurriedly ran to the cocina and returned with freshly finished potatoes. We wouldn't even have noticed. But being the professional he is he made an executive decision to serve Sarah the product the he know his kitchen is worthy of. Again, his attention to detail was immaculate. Thank you so much Los Cuates for being the very best in New Mexico for 40 years!
We have eaten here two time in last two weeks both on Fridays. Both times great service and quiet atmosphere . We will be back..

This location sucks, they cannot seem to get their act together, there is a lack of good service at this location, I've come here on four different occasions, and it's always the same outcome. The service provided by waitress team here leaves you with poor taste in your mouth. I refuse to come to this location again.

Had red Carne adovada rolled enchiladas, served with with rice, and pinto beans, and a sopapilla. Visited Menaul location. Was delicious I must say. Decent portions also. Washed down with a house margarita.Delicious. Had been a while since I had visited Los Cuates.
