Maybe it was the dark, dated interior or maybe it was the nasty health practices. I ordered the filet off of the hibachi. The guy pulls out a nasty kitchen tray with my wife's raw chicken and shrimp along with my steak...yuck (I immediately ordered it well instead of medium). Nevermind tha it was a ribeye and obviously not a filet. Just a huge waste of time and money for date night.

Wonderful place really good food. I'm not a sushi fan, I went with my family, they love sushi and they were impressed. I had the Hawaiian rice (yes with pineapple) and it was delicious. We had the mussels for an appetizer and they were some of the best mussels I have ever had truly delicious. Our server was a great guy really enjoyed, but I forgot his name, Sorry.But, yeah great place great food, a wonderful night.Oh yeah, try the unfiltered saki, very good.

We have been coming here for years for the great sushi and today we tried the hibachi grill and had a wonderful time! Aaron, our grill expert, put on an amazing and engaging show for us and the food was awesome!! This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in abq! Thank you for the great evening! .
Old school 80's theme. Zebra print booths and purple seating chairs . Server checked on us once only for drink. Sushi rice was very sticky..but fish was fresh ?

Very fresh sushi and a wonderful calming ambiance. The service was wonderful as well. DEFINATELY going back for more. UPDATE: Tried out the new teppan grill, and had a great experience. HUGE+: THEY STAY OPEN LATE!!! We tend to be night owls... So great!

Awesome place. There aren’t many restaurants in Albuquerque that stay open until midnight. The service was great despite the time we had gone in. The hibachi specials are worth the money you spend and you get a ton of food. If you’re between the teriyaki beef and the steak go with the beef. You’ll save $10. Definitely will be
