If you walk into a Chinese restaurant and see that over half the people inside are Chinese, then you know you found a good place.Neo Szechuan is Authentic, capital A intended!Want a flavorful, crispy orange chicken? You got it! Want spicy fried chicken? They got it here! Want a seafood and tofu hot pot that will burn your mouth? Done!This is, so far, the best Chinese food I have had in ABQ, and I would absolutely come back if I am craving it again.
The staff was very friendly and service was awesome! The food was not only good but served really quick from the time we ordered it. Over all this is a place I will be returning to for sure!

One of my favorite Chinese places in Albuquerque! They offer certain dishes here that are quite a bit more authentic than the usual American Chinese food restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for people with physical disabilities.
I've had a lot of great szechuan food in my life. I place Nio Szechuan as one of the greats. It's nested in an unassuming strip mall next to a great Indian grocery store and low-frill BBQ joint.This is the exact type of Chinese restaurant that hits all the notes: unassuming and owned by experienced Chinese cooks. They eat at their own place.I was seeking out the szechuan food that has that special peppercorn that numbs your mouth--so as you eat more, the 'hot' spice gets more mellow and changes flavor. It's one of the unique food types that offers such deep dimensionality to an eating experience. They recommended a few dishes, each of which hit those notes. I recommend their MoPa Tofu as an example of that.Their decor is simple and clean. They have a separated 'party' room that looks pretty hip and fun you can use with a group of people to eat and sing Karaoke. Sounds really fun if you like Karaoke :)Needless to say, I'm coming back.Vegetarian options: They have great veggies, prepared in Chinese style; and they have tofu.

Ordered delivery. The spicy fried chicken is unfortunately not authentic enough and hits the mark on flavor. There’s just zero mala. Twice cooked pork was decent but nothing to write home about. It’s just OK. I was enthusiastic about the place but I don’t think I’ll be returning.
