The pizzeria was empty, there were only four tables in the restaurant and their excuse was to say that their oven was full and they couldn't understand us for two hours, so do they have a toy oven???The pizzeria was empty, there were only four tables in the restaurant and their excuse was to say that they had a full oven and they couldn't understand us for two hours, so do they have a toy oven???

Old town pizza parlor-Albuquerque NWA Mexico-This is a straight up pizza place that is great atmosphere. The pizza blanco is perfect caramelized crust, no flop and perfect crunch. The flavor had great balance. The best pizza on Route 66. Not that I’ve tried them all, but it is literally on the mother road.My rating: 8.1#rendellsreviews #shoproute66 #shoplocal #eatroute66 #eatrt66 #eatlocal #eatsmall #bestonroute66 #oldtownpizza

We had a salad and pizza. The greek salad and pizza were good. Service was slow, but they had at least one person missing and I heard the manager left for a kid's game leaving the people still there high and dry. They worked very hard and were friendly, but poor management decision. The atmosphere may be nice, but there was a family with a girl that screamed just to annoy her mother and the mother acted like a deer caught in the headlights. Completely useless.Still, your luck will probably be better, at least with the screaming. Would have enjoyed sitting outdoors, but it was too chilly the evening we went.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, I ordered through the Yelp app which goes through Grubhub and scheduled a pick up time 35 minutes from when time I actually ordered the pizza. When I got to the restaurant at 6:00pm- 15 minutes AFTER my scheduled pick up time, I was told it would be another 5 to 10 minutes - which was fine, it was Friday nite. However 30 mins later, I was told by the restaurant after they asked - again - for my order info- that they had not yet even started my order. Because they reasoned- per the app- the restaurant received my pick up time for 7:45 not 5:45. Which also would have been fine... had they told me that when I had gotten there - now 30 minutes earlier. Unfortunate. Not only for the delay, but also because there was a nonchalant it was the apps fault" attitude. It was a system error fine, but what about the employee that told me 3 times while I was waiting those initial 30 minutes that my food was on the way. Once they began my order, it was ready in about 20 minutes. Which I appreciated and they did give me a free cookie and soda, which was also nice.

Craving a meatball sub, friend recommended I try this place out. I found the sub to be very dry, possibly used meatballs from day before and very little sauce and cheese

Margherita pizza was excellent. Great crust, which I believe is the key to great pizza. We got take out, so I only glimpsed the atmosphere. Looked pretty nice though - casual. Friendly staff.

My son and I went on a Wednesday just before noon and we were the only ones there. I was glad to see some local draft beer choices. Our margarita pizza was just like I like it; crispy, lots of tomatoes and fresh basil. You order at the counter and seat yourself. We choose a table overlooking the Rio Grande Blvd; I enjoyed the sunshine coming through the window. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

One of the best pies in town! Took my sons (11 and 4 years old) here before we went to Explora, they couldn't get enough. We had a lg pepperoni pizza and some garlic cheese bread, and went home with minimal leftovers. The service was great and the atmosphere is cool, had some old school video games as any good pizza place should, so take quarters!
