We got carry out here and the food was good but be aware: prices on the online menus are nowhere near accurate, our bill wound up to be about twice what we had expected.

Very bad experience. DON'T GO HERE, for the chicken fried steak. It was the type you get 6 gor $3 in the freezer. Then it was fried too long. Tasted like card board. Gravy was bland, vegetables were cold. Hardly any service. Price is too high for quality of food and service.

This is a mid to late 1900s diner setting. Portions are on the large side. Food was very good. Also one of the few places open around 8a.

Food tastes like it came from Furrs cafeteria, honestly worse. This place had some amazing fajitas 10 years ago. Not sure what happened. Waaaaay to over priced. Just sad

I went by this place several times and decided to go there with my wife and kid for brunch. It's a medium-small establishment but it's really convenient. The inside of the place reminds me of the 70/80s with the juke boxes & how the place looks. The waiters and employees there are polite people who want to ensure they have your order right, that everything is okay, & that you're having a great time there. The food that I ordered was Egg & Cheese Burritos, Green Chili Cheeseburger + Fries, & Cheeseburger with Mozzarella Sticks. Surprisingly, the Burritos were large with extra toppings on it. I enjoyed how well put together it was. The Green Chili Cheeseburger & fries were gnarly as well. The toasted buns really put a kick to how nice it is to chew on it along with how nice, golden, & crispy the fries were. Me and my family are satisfied with how it all turned out from entering Owl Cafe to the last moments before leaving it.It's also super kid friendly and would recommend going here for a nice nostalgic day with your family & kids.Kid-friendliness: There are menus for kids along with coloring pages for them to do.

Worst diner in Albuquerque. Maybe it had it's glory days but on our visit, we were upcharged for a single glass of orange juice, received a tortilla with blue dye or mold on it, food was expensive and mostly potatoes with no salt. Spent 45$ for a really sad breakfast.
