If I could give this a -5 stars I would I've never eaten here but I did have an interview here once the owner saw that I was a black man and proceeded to ask me if I was a criminal if I have any DWIs or if I smoke marijuana and when I told him no to all of that he wants to consistently press me and say are you sure because black people are known for that the craziest thing I went in with a button-up shirt the craziest thing I went in with a button-up my hair was tied up and he told me I looked unprofessional and I told him well then what would have been professional in your eyes he proceeded to tell me I should have came with my shirt on buttoned at the top after all of that racial profiling me he tries to ask me do you want the job still safe to say I told him no and walked out so if you're somebody of color I strongly suggest not eating here unless you want to be racially profiled

The food portions are too small and there is too expensive! I will never buy food from here again! They forgot to give me utensils, dropped my card, and i had to go searching for the waiter.

Unprofessional staff, did not receive any help on arrival. Did not get to eat here and won’t be back, highly recommended skipping this location.

We had lamb and beef kabobs. Flavor was great but both were tough. Try something else. Appetizer platter was good. We got the Valentine's Day special dinner which came with dessert, but they had us share one slice of cake. Weird. The belly dancer was interesting.

Overall, the dinner was a good experience. My only issue is that we attended for Valentine's Day that had a fixed price meal part of which included belly dancing, which did not occur at any point during our meal so we basically paid a 50% premium for something we didn't get to enjoy.

I traveled a great distance to try your food and you advertise you’re open until 8:30. Unfortunate that I arrived at 7:45 and you were closed. Major inconvenience. I won’t come try your food now. Very poor hospitality.

We are visiting from out of state and this was our last night in Albuquerque. We were craving some Persian food and decided to give this place a try. We were shocked to see the restaurant completely deserted on a Saturday night - and we said amongst ourselves, how difficult it must be for the owner to cover the cost of the restaurant with no one is dining in on a Saturday night. We decided, if the food was good, we would leave a stellar review so the place would attract more people. Well - we should have realized that the reason why this place was so empty on a Saturday night is because of how terrible the food is and how terrible the ownership is. We ordered vegetarian dishes - the Kashkobademjan, for which the price is now a whopping $8.50 is served in a tiny bowl. And it wasn’t good. The vegetarian kabob was one skewer - one tomato slice, two onion slices and two tiny pepper slices - and it was BURNT. The celebration rice was clearly from another day - it was super dry. And the fasenjoon didn’t taste good. We told our server Alex all of this - she went inside and out came the owner. A grumpy Persian man who started complaining about us - offering no apology, telling us the food was great, and he has been the owner of the restaurant for 23 years, and this is how he has always operated the restaurant and no one in Albuquerque knew anything about Persian food until he showed up. I told him - one of the most amazing things about the United States is the sense of customer service. He went back in - out came our server with the FULL bill even if we didn’t eat half the foods. I left the restaurant with a stomachache, and I am sorry for his workers who have to deal with him on a daily basis. If you want to eat horrible food and get yelled at by the owner - please visit this restaurant at your earliest. Otherwise - RUN AWAY FAST.Vegetarian options: Awful vegetarian options.
