We usually go to the full scale restaurant in Nob Hill. Today we tried this express in Uptown Albuquerque. It was just as good food wise as the main restaurant. There was very limited seating , and probably deals more as a takeout place. Everything was tasty and the potions were large. We had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later too. I love the pita bread with whipped garlic too! Yum!

I usually love Sahara, it is one of my favorite restaurants in the city but tonight my husband ordered take out from there and it was awful. I don't know if they are cutting costs or changing recipes but we can't even finish our dinner. Really hope this was a one time thing.

Love it here. This is my favorite Mediterranean place to come to. Great staff and amazing food. The Beef and Lamb Shawarma plate is amazing. You cane really tast the aromatics of the earthy spices and seasonings they use in the meat. The plate is also served with yellow (turmeric) basmati rice topped with what I believe to be tzatziki sauce, a side Greek Salad, one Dolma, one delicious falafel, and a side of hummus and pita. The hummus is served with a sprinkle of sumac which adds a nice fragrance to the taste. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Mediterranean food.

The menu said that there Sahara platter is 12.49 but it is not. It is 13.99 and they haven’t changed the price on the menu to reflect the new price. I feel like they should have charged me the price that is on the menu and not the new price since it wasn’t listed or updated on their menu.

Sahara mediterranean is located in the middle of New Mexico's Sahara with an authentic maskless energy I was riddled with the longing of a delicious Greek salad - I am always so entranced by the acidic lemony flavors and this Bloody Sunday Bloody Sunday I was craving it more than ever my only concern with my salad is it was very dry, and did not have enough dressing at all!

I have eaten at their other restaurant on Central and liked it. I hot at the Nib Hill location a lamb/beef schwarma and either the meat or sauce had a strange flavor. It was not very tasty and really had an obnoxious flavor. In the padt at other places the meat were natural and was so good.I do not recommend this place. I am quite amazed all the 4 stars it has been given.

I've been here twice now. On my first visit, I just got a chicken shwarma pita sandwich - and it was so tasty and delicious. Today, I was trying to get parking for a different business and decided I wanted to try this Mediterranean place again - great idea. I absolutely love Eastern Mediterranean cuisine; I decided on the Vegetarian Plate which features hummus, baba ganoush, pita, dolmas, falafel, and a bit of salad. So yummy, fresh, and filling. They grill the pita so it's hot, and that special attention to detail is appreciated. Prices are right on point: $6.99 for a chicken shwarma sandwich; $10.99 for the veg plate. My only consideration for this business is to consider using a different material for take-out - not styrofoam.

I have come here many times and have always loved it but went again tonight and somehow I think they are getting even better. The beef shawarma sandwich was mind blowing and the gyro was incredible too. SOOOO GOOOOD! Please open a restaurant in Gallup! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
