Any visit that misses out on dinner at Seared Bistro has missed one of the gems of ABQ. Pam and her staff took incredible care and delivered the most savory dishes I’ve had in months.

I have nothing to say about the food. However, the service is another story. I am in NM for a conference. Colleagues that visited the restaurant prior recommended the place and gave us a business card where it was written free appetizers or desserts with purchase of 2 entrees in the back. So at the end of the meal the waiter (Christopher) brought the check for all of us, I politely asked if it could be separate which seamed to annoy him and he proceeded by saying that nobody had told him so I apologized then I asked if we could use the card where the offer was written. He proceeded to look at it and asked where I had gotten this so I had to explain who had given us the card (needless to say that he made me feel like I was trying to steal something). He went to his manager and comes back with 3 checks and gave us the appetizer for free (15 dollars). Now what did we notice: gratuity was not added on the check that was for all of us (3 people) however they automatically added gratuity to the separated check. I didn’t think that was cool but we just left instead of creating an argument. Adding gratuity to a party of 3 to make up for the price of the appetizer is just not cool. Great way to make people feel dishonest.

What really stood out during my dinner at Seared Bistro was the service. Chris was a complete 10/10. He checked on everyone in a timely manner, recommended great selections off the menu and even recommended some places I could sight see at while in New Mexico. Everything I had tasted amazing and I truly had zero complaints. I already told a few co-workers about this place and mentioned if they could to try and go while Chris is there. Thanks for an amazing time!

Wonderful food, great atmosphere! We were barely hungry after a late lunch, but were drawn in by their offerings. Everything was delicious, our waiter offered numerous nightly specials, special soups, apps, and entrees. I wanted to order the Rack of Lamb, but knew I wasn’t hungry enough to put a dent in it. Another time, for sure, because we certainly will return!

Our waiter was amazing. His whole demeanor was that he wanted to be there helping people have a good time. The food was amazing and wine even better. Be prepared to spend some cash!
I was told SEARED ( was the new place ) … boy was I wrong …. First our server who formerly worked for Ruth’s C. Was. Very kind, informative and attentive. You could tell he knew how to treat customers well…. Food was very poor/ salads a joke no seasoning on steak - they broke apart like they were cheap and sitting out for hours. The Duck plate was disappointing- undercooked root vegetables - duck was not seared well it was raw/ odd taste under seasoned. Steak Kabob was like eating raw steak .didnt even have time to ansk them to fix since we had somewhere to go. Only good thing was chimichuri sauce and bri platter but it was very small and cheap given the price. …. We will never come backKid-friendliness: This is a KIDS RESTAURANT- lots of options

What a wonderful little hidden gem Seared Bistro turned out to be! We enjoyed every course, but the poached pear dessert with the dessert wine pairing was simply magical! A must try for everyone. Our server Christopher was fantastic as well. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming and made our dining experience top notch. We will be back for sure!

A friend of mine took me to this gem. We sat at a table in the bar area and shared the encrusted brie, mussels, goat cheese crostini, and pizza logs. Everything was phenomenally delicious and beautifully prepared. I wish I had taken photos. Our waiter took great care of us and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The space is cozy and intimate. I highly recommend for date night or a lovely meal with friends. Cannot wait to return!
So nice. Great food. Went there for Valentines day dinner. That's why it was more costly. But would pay it either way. Delicious ?
