This was my favorite bar and place to see shows even compared to small venues in San Francisco and Oakland. They get some great bands, good drinks and good prices. One could go to a $15 show, hang out at the bar and watch or wander onto the dance floor, out front ,or out back and play pinball. They also had art work by Mike Giant on the walls.However, they recently installed a wall cutting off the stage from the rest of the bar. Giant's art is gone. Granted, now you don't have to pay for a show to go to the bar but you can't watch the show anymore from the bar. I fear it ruined the venue. What about dance nights? You have to walk through a small door and can't watch your friends while you get them drinks. The whole feel of the venue has changed

I really love this bar, I come here nearly every day.however lately, I've been having a lot of issues with one of the managers Monica. she's incredibly rude to me and my friends when I come in, directly ignoring us at the bar, refusing to accept apple pay, and this last incident I had with her, she said that "we don't tip enough", meanwhile we tip every bartender 20%+, telling us that if we're not going to tip "her bartenders" that we should find a different bar. this was really upsetting as we're regulars here and I considered not coming here for a while after that.I noticed I'm not the only person she acts this way towards and it's very inappropriate. I'd love to give a 5 star review, but I just can't due to these issues.

My husband and I have always love loved this place . Atmosphere is great. Great events .The employees even though there is somewhat a new a crew/people almost every time were still very nice and always gave us recommendations RE food/drinks . We also love the new menu so please don’t change it ! Also looks like they are remodeling somethings? Very exciting:)

Very rude bouncers. I have seen a lot of rude bouncers in my day but this place actually tries to drive away customers. Be prepared to be mocked and kicked out without even getting a drink. Avoid like the plague

Seems like a cool bar, sure.I’m not sure what’s up with a certain bouncer.So I ask for a cup of water from the bartender, in a plastic cup, so I can take it out on the street to sober up on my way home (I had a DD). Neat, all good, I’m on my way out the door. As I’m leaving, the bouncer told me I can’t take drinks out into the street. I explained that it’s water, and he said “cool, no drinks out in the street.” After reiterating that it was water, which it very clearly was, he takes it out of my hands and throws it into the trash.Incredible levels of disrespect. Avoid this place.

This place is a vibe and I am here for it! A group of us went out on an appetizer and drink crawl in the area and ended up here. They had fancy drinks to more affordable and plenty of arcade games and tables for people to hang out at. I had a seltzer that I couldn't finish and the appetizer we got was a bit too rich for my taste in sheer amounts of cheese but I hear that's a usual thing in New Mexico. I loved the vending machine filled with nostalgia bits and it looks like a good place for concerts. The bar staff were friendly enough even with our multiple split checks between couples. I would have loved this place in college and would return if hanging out on this street again in the future.

The size is good for the perfect sized crowd. The vibe is great too. For some reason I felt the acoustic was muffled and not very clear. Maybe the room just needs better speakers ? We had cheeseburgers and they were way too salty.
I go for the music. Excellent sounding room and mix. I had no problem getting a drink at the bar even when it's mobbed. Plenty of staff ignoring no one. I haven't had the food, but there's always a good number of people at the tables chowing down.

World class pinball at this hip and happening bar. Great selection of machines that were all in excellent condition. Friendly staff and affordable prices for beer and cocktails. This was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Albuquerque. Would love to catch a show here sometime. Highest recommendation!!!
