Amazing service even when close to closing I would highly recommend to any pizza lover.

Recently visited Slice Parlor during a road trip that brought us through the area. Initially intended to go to the cafe place next door, but that seemed too high-falutin for us, and who doesn't like a slice of pizza?! We were in a bit of a shock when we walked in, as we managed to come in during open mic night!The staff were super awesome, and the waitress that was with us made sure we were good on drinks and food often, so we were always topped up.For me, the pizza itself was honestly not super amazing, which you'd think is a death knell for a pizza joint, but at least it was a pretty generously sized slice for the price. I will note that of the three of us, I was the only one who didn't care for the slice that much. The other two (well, one got a calzone; more in a moment) thought it was much better than I did, so I might be the odd one out! I also thought the garlic knots weren't super amazing, but again, I seemed to have been the exception. They had a nice gooey layer of cheese on top though, which I did enjoy at least.Speaking of the calzone though....It was, uh....HUGE! it was like a 20"+ pizza folded in half. We definitely didn't expect that, and thought it'd be something much smaller. That's not a bad thing per se, although it took MUCH longer for the calzone to be brought out than the slices (we were pretty much done by the time the calzone was delivered). We did get updates that it'd be a few minutes extra, and we were a bit annoyed?(That's too strong a word to be honest) that it was taking so long, but we completely understood when it was brought to the table, haha. All reports were that it was delicious though!The open mic was a bit more of a mixed bag. We've never sat in for something like that, and while the atmosphere seemed super chill and supportive, the actual humor was a bit crass and, well, mostly not that good. But I guess that's kinda what you'd expect at open mic? And still, more power to the people that get up there and are able to do that, because I know I'd be terrified! So, kudos to them!Prices seemed fair considering the quantity of food, although I wish it was more to my tastes. Definitely a cool and unique spot though, and was a highlight of our evening in Albuquerque for sure!

Went there to see my friend do his comedy skit at their standup comedy show. Order their special 2 slice with soda and it was delicious. Atmosphere was great and food even better.

Worst pizza in town! never thought I'd say those words because I've been a loyal Slice Parlor customer for 12 years, but for the last 2 years this pizza joint has been going down the hill, not only the quality of the food (among other things, they switched to sliced sausage instead of ground, ugh), also the service is the worst it's ever been! Each time we order online or over the phone we never get what we originally ordered. After the 3rd time I got wrong pizza toppings, I started checking before I left the restaurant (trustingly I didn't check until I got home most of the time because I got used to the great service slice parlor used to have). ive been hoping they'd step up the game, but after my most recent experience - we will never go back there.! we were having a party and I ordered different kinds of pizzas. Not a single one was correct.... :/ so now I had to wait longer for them to remake the pizzas & when they came back out, the pizzas were the same, but they threw some uncooked toppings on each one & called it good. In one instance They tried fooling us once with the original order, then they tried again with the undercooked raw toppings & lastly they offered us some beverages while we waited to fix their mistakes, which they posed as complementary however they brought a bill as soon as the "new" pizzas arrived. Slice parlor, your pizza is overpriced & nothing but a disappointment every time.

Stopped into Parlor Slice last Saturday on a lovely early afternoon, for some much needed hydration and booze absorption ?I don't reside in ABQ but it was my 3rd time hanging here, and will definitely be back, I can only imagine how poppin' this wide open and inviting space must get on weekend nights! Again, my gf and I were a little hazy from a big bday bash...but I distinctly remember a few TVs, and a big bar.Most importantly, the beer menu was impressive, and the NYC Pizza was very proper, and dibs had to be called on the very last room temperature slice back at the Air BnB ? (I think they offer other styles as well...but it was fuzzy)Best of all though, Jacqueline the bartender, server, and I suppose manager on duty was friendly, knowledgeable, and hilarious.Thanks Jackie, see ya next time!

Slice Parlor of Yesterday is gone. Was there recently 2024. Ok pizza slices are small now , but under cooked and order taken wrong. Lead staff rude and telling us to hurry and place our order...get IT she is busy in an empty restaurant. Thankful for the waitress that was friendly and helped us. Paid but no way did we eat that pizza. Salad was delicious! We now at New York Pizza for our fix.

This was a very nice place that I highly recommend. The atmosphere was chill and great for people of all ages and occasions. We ordered the white pizza, which was excellent. I love eating pizza that is cooked to perfection. No extra cheese dripping off. The bottom is cooked well that it doesn't fall apart. The staff was young and very friendly.

I am giving this place a one star due to how I was treated during a medical emergency ,because I just got done donating plasma and smoked a cigarette outside and when I came in my whole body was buzzing so I sat down and my body began to feel electricity through out it and my arms started too hurt and my hands started to curl up and I requested water from the employees two of them and I started to curl up because what I was experiencing... I was in need of help and no one here was helping it finally stopped after I got the water and the lady with the short hair comes up and tells me to leave once I'm done with my food because I'm acting weird I explained it was something medical happening and she said I still had too leave my hands are still buzzing as I type this. Do not come here the employees are horrible people what if I went into a seizure or cardiac arrest they probably would tell me to go outside still and not even help. Horrible people shame on her for that
