The Range has been a New Mexican favorite of mine since 2007. The flavors and quality of the food can not miss. Of that I can guarantee. This time around, we ate at the downtown location. It has the same funky vibe in the atmosphere that all The Range's restaurants have. Like a warehouse of random knickknacks that also has some of the best food that New Mexico has to offer. The authentic southwestern style plates screams flavor, style, and panache. Try the chilaquiles, the burritos, the papas con carne, or whatever your heart desires. You absolutely must try their desserts! Not only are they to die for, but they'll bring you back to life at the same time. They're that good. The death by lemon cake is phenomenal. Chocolate roadhouse cake is a must. Oh, and the Mexican latte cake is a thing of beauty. Go to the Range and dive into a world of fantastic flavors.

This place was amazing the burger I had was so good! I was perfectly full when I finished my burger. I wished I lived near here so I could eat here a lot. The service was great! The waiter was very nice and smiled and friendly. When we stayed here waiting for our plane the waiters did not come talk to us to tell us to leave a just let us stay! The drinks were amazing and gave us free refills! The food came very quickly and was very cheep for being so good everyone agreed that this was the best restaurant we went on during the trip! There was funny posters everywhere! The bathroom was clean and had even more funny posters!

Not a fan of their food, but apparently people seem to like it so my opinion is just that...take it or leave it.

Food was good. It took too long to place our order and much too long to get our check. Server didn't return very often. They were not very busy so, no excuse for shoddy service.

We ate here for a late lunch on Saturday 3/30 around 2 o’clock. The restaurant was pretty empty, however our service from start to finish was agonizingly slow. We placed our order and when we received our order, the server said he’d be back with dressing for the salad and condiments for the burger. Our toddlers pancakes were filled with old burnt strawberries which we didn’t want and he wouldn’t eat. So after waiting about 10 mins we got up to ask about the dressing and if we could just get plain pancakes. They then said oh the dressing is actually already on your salad so I checked and it was but the salad lettuce was soggy and wilted and old and the avocado was literally black. So I just chose to not eat it. They did remake our toddlers pancakes and he did enjoy them. When we got the bill we were double charged for stuff and it was wrong and it was just a weird experience. The server was apologetic but overall was one of the worst dining out experiences we’ve had in a very long time, or ever.

I really want to love the Range. The decor is really welcoming and pleasantly ecclectic. I was patient with our new and softspoken server. I'm sure his skills will improve with time. The food was okay. Serving sizes were inconsistant as the steak was much less filling than the Turkey. The temperature was not good, not horrible but disappointing. Stuffing was delicious and the turkey not bad either. I think, if seved warmer, it might have been very good. We were told they were out of green chili rolls and offered a substitute that never showd up until we were done eating and ended up being an untoasted english muffin. The menu had lots of enticing options and I will be back for another try. I hope this was just an unfortunate experience I will soon forget.

The place is great, fantastic food, polite employees, unfortunately Albuquerques panhandlers have riddled the outside demanding money as you walk in and walk out.
