Delicious sushi and miso soup! I had the volcano roll and it was amazing. Lots of fresh fish and green chile! Not too much rice! I think you can tell from the photo how perfect it was. Cute little delicious orange cut up like a cat at the end!Parking: Some free spaces in the small parking lot next to the restaurant, and additional metered street parking.

Love this place. I go here a lot in between classes at UNM and it’s the perfect place for students both location and budget wise. Food is reasonably priced and delicious, restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere and the owners are always super sweet and very attentive. Not to mention, if you dine in you get free miso soup as a starter and an orange carved into the shape of a bear for dessert. Just such a cool thing to do that makes me love coming to this place every time.
The spicy miso ramen was incredible! Oranges were a great end to the meal. Definitely check this place out

I was a little confused when I arrived as the outside is kinda run down with no signage of sushibucks. However inside is very nice, clean and well kept renovated spot.The staff was very friendly and the sushi was delicious.

I absolutely love it here! I’ve been about 3 or 4 times now, and the woman who is usually in the front taking orders is extremely kind! The sashimi platters are fresh and always a must. The bento box with eel is absolutely amazing, had it once and will always order it. I remember once I didn’t know which tuna I wanted on the two piece sashimi dish and the woman gave me an extra piece of the one I hadn’t ordered, just for future reference! On top of this kindness, towards the end of the meal she usually comes around with an orange carved into a little bear and it is the cutest thing, also very refreshing for the end of your meal. I can go on but i believe I’ve highlighted everything good about my experience and hope you can find the charm in this place just as I did.

This small restaurant had delicious sushi! The Lion King roll is a must order!! The service was quick and so friendly! Two unique touches that really stood out to us was the orange bear that was served to us after our meal and mochi instead of fortune cookies! It was a true treat!

I kept hearing about this place from a reasonable number of foodie groups in town so before my most recent popejoy show I decided I was going to give it a try since I was going to be in the area. It is in the row of restaurant fronts that all look very similar over by the university so make sure you find the right door! The place is pretty small with only a few tables and a style where you order at the counter and they bring you your food. I got the salmon poke bowl which came with miso soup and my friend got bulgogi bibimbap. The poke came with a good sized helping of the fish which was well seasoned some egg sashimi, roe, seaweed salad and avocado among other tasties over rice. It was all quite delicious and very filling. My friend enjoyed the bulgogi or at least it disappeared as quickly as my poke bowl! There are quite a few options on the menu I need to go back and try - like the sushi - all in all I was quite pleased with my experience.

Amazing food - sushi was super fresh, delicious and came with complimentary miso soup. The prices are VERY reasonable. Husband had beef bulgogi and it was fantastic. The space was nicely decorated - very cute (the outdoor exterior really hides the interiors look). I love that you’re seated then order at the counter…it’s more efficient. The only “downside” is no alcohol but that doesn’t matter cause the food was exceptional along with the service and adorable complimentary dessert at the end. Really loved it and excited to come back!
