This place is a great place to go to for a country dancing and a good bar to go to for food and drinks. Price for drinks were good and I really like that they have a water station for free water all night. Didn't try the food but, it seemed pretty good. Last time I was here was back in 2019, they didn't have the other half of the bar then, so it got pretty crowded, and now with the other half of the bar and food section it's still crowded. It gets crowded after 10:00pm. Plus the PBR was in town which made it more crowded. Not sure what the crowd limit is for them but, I'm sure they were either close or exceeded it. I left at about 11:30 because it was too much. Band last night was ok, the music was louder than the singer so he was hard to hear. Floor for dancing was fine, as long as it wasn't too crowded. Had some good dancers to ask me to dance with which made the night really nice & fun. There were a good amount of security "bouncer's" there and for being a female I felt pretty safe. Didn't see any issues with any out of control people and if there was they did a good job handling it. There is only 2 places for the bathrooms. Near the front entrance to the East and in the food area in the far corner. The line was a little long but ok. I did notice for that one, they have female bouncers keeping the line moving as there is only 3 stalls with sinks in them. No sharing stalls ladies. As being one of the only country bars in Albuquerque, I'll go back for some more good times and dancing.

Great dance floor. Thursday night is Ladies Night. Aliya is the greatest bartender. Ask for her and you won’t be disappointed!

2.50 pabst blue ribbons, a well lit dance floor, good music and a clean bathroom. What more could a Cowpoke ask for.

It's a bar...Security here sucks. I was wanded with a metal detector, yet I was able to walk in to the bar with no less than 5 knives on my person, in addition to a gun in my waistband.Dietary restrictions: No food

Okay, so I love this place but one of the newer bartenders tried to kick me out for no reason. Like this is awful idk if it was because of population but this bartender is like out for anyone. I really hate that I got kicked out of no reason and tried to charge me 20$ for no reason. You know who you are. Don’t by be like that. But I really was wanting to have a good night an yall ruined it so thanks also yall let pepper in and my best friend got peppered sprayed and I feel like security should better place is a joke

Been twice so far, country dancing, good country music with live bands playing often. Multiple bars throughout so your not waiting long for a drink. Everyone I ran into from the bouncers to the bartenders, workers and guests have all been great.

Nice place to country western dance. Friendly staff. Get there early if you wanna seat. Mix of younger and old crowd. Lookout for the dance experts out there. Makes dancing kinda dangerous.Parking: Place is in a shopping plaza so plenty of parking.

Came to a concert with 6+ people. The entire night we were harassed by staff for resting our hands on our faces, dancing too closely, having drinks in our hands and threatened to be kicked out for these actions. Bouncers were walking around watching people and making the environment feel very uncomfortable and aggressive. Not a place to enjoy a beer and company. First and last time I will be coming here.

I was profiled at the front door by some obese racist security he told me I can’t come in even tho I showed ID and was respectful and followed all the protocol for their establishment I just wanted to take my wife and sister dancing but they denied us for a unknown reason I’m deeply disappointed with the service and security I get they have to do their job but not letting regular law abiding citizens in is a disgrace

We're old enough to have turned 21 around the time The Dirty Bourbon was Cadillac Ranch. It may have actually been Cowboys. Haha! Regardless, that means we don't go to The DB very often. We went for a private reception before actual open hours. The addition of Bourbon House next door is super cool. We were around to watch Midnight Rodeo implode when they added Gotham. This is absolutely not like that. We hung out at a table, and we appreciate that they ensured we were of age, bit didn't kick us out to make us come back in when TDB actually opened. We would have just left. As it was, we stayed, danced, and kept spending money. We had a good time and left before 10pm. Lol. We had enough fun that we may go back. The addition of Bourbon House makes a huge space where people can go sit, enjoy food and separate from some of the actual bar scene. We thought it was cool and a great addition. The food was really good and we had a great time.

Grab your favorite blue jeans and step into The Dirty Bourbon, a local watering hole for country music lovers. While the bar and food offerings are straightforward, the main draw is the bustling dance floor. With its dive bar charm, the Dirty Bourbon surprises with its spacious interior, and is perfect for line dancing, two-stepping, or just tapping your boots to the beat. Live bands fill the air with music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. The best part? Get there before 8 PM and you’re in for free! The band starts at 9 PM, but music plays on the sound system until then.
