WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! While I’m not one to write reviews, this ongoing awful experience deserves one. Dined in on DECEMBER 29th with my boyfriend. We were told about a 15 minute wait however ended up waiting about 45. After getting sat, we waited about another 20 for our waitress to acknowledge us. Service all night was slow; however once we got our tray of sauces our waitress accidentally dropped one of the spoons on the floor. She proceeded to pick it up and put it back in the sauce. Before she left, I politely asked if that spoon had just fallen on the floor. She looked at me and walked away. The rest of the night we continued to get slow service and the food was unenjoyable. Before we could leave, my boyfriend was having loose bowel movements in the restroom. Once he was ok enough to leave, we rushed out. Unfortunately for us, once we got on the freeway we had to pull over so I could vomit. While I understand there is a warning for cooking our own food, we checked every piece of meat to ensure it was thoroughly cooked before consuming it. Not to mention the reactions only lasted for a few hours; meaning it most likely wasn’t food poisoning and more likely a reaction to some sort chemical in the food or on the dishes. After this already bad experience, I called the restaurant to try to find a resolution. I spoke to a female manager who said she would talk to the store manager and have him call me. I left my name and phone number. After not hearing back for a week, I called back. I then spoke to a male manager who said there was no note of my name or phone number but he now made one and would pass it along to the store manager and have him call me. After not hearing back for over a week, I called again… And again, and again. Then I called again and this time the SM answered. He said he would have to talk to his district manager to approve a refund for me then get back to me. After 2 weeks of not hearing back, I called again. This time I spoke to the bar manager. She again told me she would make sure the store manager got back to me and he probably hasn’t because they’ve been too busy the past few months. After a few more calls of being told the same thing, it has now been over 3 months with no hearing back from their store manager. After such an awful experience and over $100 wasted, I hoped to at least get some money back but it seems there is no care on their end for any kind of resolution. So definitely wouldn’t recommend especially considering their prices for such poor food and service.

Karissa was unbelievable! She made our experience so enjoyable while the food and cleanliness were subpar. She was so attentive and such a smart young lady with a bright future. Rarely do we receive the type of attention and care she gave us! Would consider coming back just to see her.

this was the worst experience i’ve ever had. my fiancé and i had been wanting to visit for a long while and we went on our 1 year anniversary. our server Trevon H. was incredibly rude from the start. he would slam the plates down in front of us and gave attitude for the simplest of questions. he got angry with us for the stove being too hot and smoking even though he didn’t explain how to use it. at the end of the meal we asked for the kitchen surcharge to be taken off (which is an option on the bottom of the receipt). he ripped the receipt out of my fiancés hand and had it changed. when he came back he threw the receipt at us and walked away. for first time guests this was disheartening. we spent $150 just for attitude and mockery the entire night.

Interesting concept. Restaurant had mud all over the floor. Waitress nice, but too busy. Very expensive for amount of food and you doing the cooking. Plan for at least 2hrs.

My wife and I have been talking about trying out a dinner at Melting Pot for many years. This year my wife decided it was time and looked at booking a reservation during the Valentines Day holiday week. Unfortunately their prices were doubled during that time, so we had to wait until last night (2-19-24) to visit. We arrived for our 4:30 reservation a bit early. The tiny lobby's floor was damaged and the overhead lamp appeared to be broken. They made us wait to be seated until the reservation time even though there was nobody else waiting, and the restaurant was pretty empty. Our server was very nice and attentive, and that's why I'm giving them two stars instead of one.The menu was confusing, and the restaurant was very loud, so it was hard to concentrate enough to figure out what to order. We managed though, and ordered the four course meal experience. The first course was a pot of melted cheese with bread and veggies to dip. This seemed ok, but the cheese was delivered cold and it took awhile for it to heat at the table. The second course was a salad, which was also ok. The lettuce was not very fresh, and the dressing provided was very scant.Next came the meats, served with a side of disaster. One of the meats I received was tuna. The server warned me to not eat it raw. What she didn't say is that it was poison, and I should not have ate it at all.(BTW, boiling my meat isn't really my preparation of choice. Grilling seems so much better that I'm not sure why this place is popular and so expense?)Even though I cooked the tuna chunks for over five minutes in the boiling soup provided, and it was the consistency of pork when I ate it, I quickly knew eating it was a big mistake. Less than two hours later I was really sick, and I knew why. It is has been a long time since I've had food poisoning, but boy did I get it from this meal!Desert was some melted chocolate with various fruits and desert bars to dip. It was actually the best part of the meal.Dinner for two here with no alcohol was $170 with the tip included. As an added surprise, they added a 3% kitchen surcharge, "for our kitchen staff to provide a sustainable living wage." I think a restaurant that charges this much for a meal should be able to pay their kitchen staff without an extra charge. Maybe if they did, the staff would be more professional in their food handling, and I would not have been poisoned by the meal they provided. We will not be back.Dietary restrictions: If you might be harmed by food poisoning, do not eat here.

It is good. The catch is the fondue atmosphere but if you are looking for good value for your money this is not the place. Party of 2, $250. I have had much better food and meals for less elsewhere. I think it would be great for a party of 6-8 people where time can be spent talking and laughing. Be weary of the seasoning they put on the table and recommend. You open it, you buy it.....

Absolutely horrible experience booked the themed dinner almost a week in advance at 200$+ for one couple when we were walked to our table there was no rose petals, rose, or squishmallow that was supposed to come with the package I had purchased we were served no salad that was part of the 4 course meal and the valentines menu was underwhelming beyond disappointed

We love the Melting Pot but our last visit was much less enjoyable than our previous experiences have been. Food was decent and in ample portions. Wait staff was decent but a bit inattentive and allowed drink glasses to go to empty a couple times during our meal. Would have been better if they had oriented the cooking surfaces where the servers could easily read the temperature without needing to lean across the cooking surface (and open cooking pots). Our biggest disappointment was to find that "lovers lane" which has been under construction for quite some time has definitely changed. We were hoping for a new freshened up space which had the same private personal intimate space for us as a couple. Disappointed to find that the spaces were no longer intimate, but rather are now sitting almost directly across from another table with a direct view of what is happening across at (and the other table having a similar view of our table). Used to be that there was a wall across from the tables and only the serving staff were visible while serving the table. Pretty much killed the romantic mood for us. We won't be requesting to be seated in "lovers lane" going forward--just doesn't feel the same to us now...
