Everything was great. Food was delicious, great and friendly service! The house potatoes were delicious! My latte was ok could be better.. I high recommend giving this place a try. My daughter got orange juice and it was the best! My husband got a burger at 9 am ? which was also spot on.

An hour wait on a Sunday morning and it was worth every second! The place lives up to all the hype.We were greeted at the end of the line by a hostess who brought us out a menu and advised us of a little bit of wait and how the ordering system works. Nice, and thoughtful touch which we appreciated. We hung out in line and enjoyed conversation and laughs and before you know it we were at the counter ready to order! I ordered a carne adovada burrito and the thing was literarily the size of a football! The meat was not in chunks like a lot of places but rather a shredded pork that had been cooked until buttery tender. The monstrosity also contained potatoes which were I believe baked potato chunks, that were also very tender yet had a little grill to them. It was topped off with a sour cream and some pickled onions that I didn't care for on the first bite, but by the time I was done I wish I had more of them! Others with me had chorizo burger which was my favorite out of everything at the table. The buttermilk pancakes! The buttermilk pancakes! The buttermilk pancakes! Not sure how they do it but they are EXCELLENT pancakes! Just try them! The huevos rancheros were excellent and the sausage, green chili burrito was delicious. The sausage was different in that it was sweet instead of your typical salty greasy version. And the chili had a great flavor and spice.Parking was free in front of the building. Because it was Sunday the street metered spots to the east of the building were free so take advantage of that! The painted picture on the wall of Anthony Bourdain was all I needed to see to know that this place was going to be worth the wait and it was truly worth every second!Good job The Shop Breakfast and Lunch! The cooks in the back rockin and rollin you are a true gem to this "shop!"Parking: free parking in the front of the restaurant and paid street parking to the east, as well as more free parking further east across the street.

Suggested to get there early. There is often a line out the door, and for a good reason!

I was looking forward to eating here. The place is packed and I was told I could not hold a table while my husband ordered. The wait staff seemed uncaring and unbothered. It must have been at least a 20 minute wait to even order and there were very few places to sit. I was so angry we left. Advise getting there early if you really must go. I don’t care how good it is I will go back.

It's a small place but the food and portion sizes are phenomenal! I had the Qban and the roasted pork shoulder was moist and well seasoned. I plan on having the breakfast burrito next time. Huuuugggeee!

Probably one of the most disappointed I've been trying a hyped restaurant in a while. I could have just made a bad decision but their breakfast burrito is one of the most mediocre ones I. The city.Don't be fooled by it's size (or it's price). You can get a breakfast burrito 10x better for half the price up the road at Golden Pride. My gf got the eggs Benedict and they looked amazing (that's why they're getting a 3 and not a 1). If you go there, get anything besides the breakfast burrito.

I LOVE this place! We have been eating here for years and it is one of my top two breakfasts in town. There is New Mexican food but done to next level. Food is consistently delicious, the staff are kind and appreciative and it's a wonderful environment.

The shop is located next to the campus at University of New Mexico. It has a friendly, easy-going feel, and while we were there, it was not remotely just college students. It is a walk up and order counter. The service is quite good. From food preparation to finding us a table (the place was packed) the staff was great. There was a person handing out menus in the line and offering suggestions. By the time we reach the counter, we had a good idea what we wanted, even though it was our first time.We are looking forward to going back again and trying another creationBe prepared, the portions are huge. Don’t expect Micky D’s prices, but you will be pleased with the food value.

Order the Chilaquiles, and it is an absolute chunker. Which I’m not complaining about if it tasted amazing. However, I found that there was hardly any saltiness/acidity on anything except the pickled onions. It was decent if you got a bite of onion but without that every other component was very, very bland. Even the pork shoulder.
