Probably the best ice cream we’ve found in Albuquerque.

Cute little place!! Definitely reminds me of a local place you would find on the streets of LA's Little Tokyo. The girl who helped me was super nice, and their honeydew ramune float was amazing. The ice cream was so creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. Can't wait to go back and try more of their items!

We loved it. Four of our group are Japanese nationals and I lived there for over ten years and this place is 100% legit in our opinions. Super clean. Adorable presentation. The dorayaki was scrumptious. The Tonari Sundae with black sesame ice cream brought my tastebuds straight to Gamagori. We will eagerly go out of our way to come here every time we come to NM.

Try the banana-milk. Try the mushroom ice-cream. Try the mochi with redbean ice-cream sandwich. Try everything on the menu. Try not to eat too much.

A cute little dessert shop with plenty of unique flavours of both ice cream and dorayaki! While it is a bit out of the way (it’s tucked away at the side of a strip mall) it is well worth a trip!I recommend going early as my fiancée and I stopped in later in the day after arriving in Albuquerque - around 8:00PM, which is an hour before they close on a Saturday - and all of the dorayaki flavours were sadly sold out. Completely understandable as it was an hour before closing. (Even so, both staff members were very nice and polite to us. Extra props to them for not giving us any nasty looks for coming in last minute, too.)That being said, we decided to settle for two of the many ice cream flavours they offer instead - he got the vanilla kuromitsu, and I got the miso caramel - both were extremely delicious! The miso caramel tastes like salted caramel, so if that’s your favourite sort of flavor, I highly recommend it. (It tastes so much like it I forgot it even had miso!) The most notable thing about the ice cream was that the consistency is unlike your typical dime-a-dozen ice cream shop, with Tonari no Mise’s being thicker and creamier. We will be back in the future, definitely at an earlier time to try the extensive flavours of dorayaki.

The flavors they have on hand are unique. They do sell out of the more popular items pretty quickly. That's said, anything they offer is delicious.I had the miso caramel. It wasn't what I expected, but not in a bad way.

All I have is love for Tonari No Mise. It's a super cute little spot within walking distance of Magokor so you can have a great dinner and dessert if you'd like. That's exactly what I did and the matcha sundae was the perfect follow up to curry. I will say, the portions are bigger than they look. I definitely wasn't able to finish my sundae after a hearty lunch, next time I'll opt for something simpler. It was all very good though. The fruit was fresh and the matcha flavor was fabulous. The space is very small, definitely a grab and go kind of situation. Don't forget to take a pic with the cute wall! Pro marketing tip: put in a cute/fun wall and get all the free promotions lol. The girl working the counter was friendly and overall, I was really happy with the experience. I'll definitely be back, just maybe something smaller next time. They have a great variety of flavors that I can't wait to try!

Finally a Japanese place I can go to curb my sweet cravings! I have been seeing pictures of their dorayakis on their Instagram and I finally was able to try some and it did not disappoint. If you aren't familiar, they tasted like smaller soft fluffy pancakes filled with different yummy goodies. I got the strawberry cream and banana chocolate and it was the perfect snack/dessert. I can't wait to go back and try some of their unique ice cream flavors next!

We stopped by totally on a whim during a road trip, and were so glad we did! Great dorayaki, and really enjoyed the hojicha flavored milk. There was so much on the menu I wanted to try--definitely swinging back next time I'm in Albuquerque.

This place is honestly my favorite place in ABQ for anything. We as Albuquerque do not deserve a place so cute and delicious. It's a little gem and I send all of my coworkers that visit from LA to show them that we have nice things, too. Please get a doryaki and try the black sesame ice cream. It is to die for. I wish this place were open later so I could indulge multiple times a day.

Unique treat that's just amazingly delicious. Can't go wrong with the strawberry cream and a banana milk!

So delicious and unique. Quite easily my new favorite ice cream place within 100 miles (or more)! I loved everything I’ve tried, including the red bean (anko).

Honestly such a pleasant surprise to have a Japanese soft serve place in ABQ, and the flavors, texture, everything is so on point (I’m especially picky about my mochis). I got the strawberry milk (what a treat) and Japanese sundae (similar to parfait), picky eater for the “plainest” thing on the menu: vanilla + kuromitsu (which he devoured, so there’s something for everyone here). So glad we opted to have dessert here before dinner. If it was closer/more convenient (open more days/longer hours), I’m sure I would have been where way too many times.I’ve no doubt of it was transported to SoCal, land of all things Asian, it would do super well too. Which, if you know, is huge.

Great service, good prices, excellent doriyaki

Ice cream is very rich and creamy, everything I've tried was delicious. My only gripe is that there is very little signage to show where it is at, and it's an easy to miss spot literally around the side/back of the strip mall.
