First time at this place, ordered two different things because they didn’t had anything that I asked for. I ordered Ribeye Steak 12oz with baked potato’s and they were out of baked potato, then I asked for Mac and cheese also out of them my steak came cold ASF??♂️. Server looks she wasn’t having a good day or something I don’t know. Lettuce at the salad bar had a weird taste also. Really bad experience for the first time there.

I was in Artesia over Easter and looking for a place for lunch. Pecos Diamond Steakhouse was open and very busy. The salad bar was great with a variety of toppings, dressings, soup, and sides. I had the NY strip steak which was perfectly cooked but could have been seasoned a bit more for my taste. The grill gave a nice flavor to a really good cut of meat (hand cut on premises). The service was really friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a holiday, everyone seemed happy to serve their guests. There are limited food options in this small New Mexico town but Pecos is a great option.

Work environment very poor… workers and cooks are seen doing drugs in the kitchen all the time… and they also let non employed people run around the kitchen causing problems with workers… and they have a major drug addict running the restaurant… I don’t think this restaurant should be in business in my opinion! I doubt people want drug residue in their food too! That’s a health hazard!

Ordered their ribeye with baked potato. The steak was delicious but the baked potato had been sitting, it was dry and hard I did have them bring me another it was the same, so I just didn't eat it. Disappointed it wasn't cheap. ( The salad bar was awesome though) Our waitress was very helpful and sweet, it was her birthday so we thanked her tipped her and went back n our way.

"Mystery meat" is the perfect way to describe the chicken fried steak. Yuck!! Baked potatoe was old and dry. They were out of rolls. The salad was very good. We left most of the food on the plate (except the salad). We wont be back.

This place is so gross was eating dinner last Wednesday night. A young man came out and was restocking the soup bowls he dropped two or three bowls. They all skipped across the floor. He picked them all up and put them on the shelf for everybody to use and eat out of.

Quite possibly the WORST restaurant in New Mexico. And that really is saying something. Trust me. Do NOT eat here. The salad bar contains the only edible food in the building. If your meal comes out of the kitchen, you should pray that food poisoning is the least of your worries. Service isn't terrible so they get one star. Avoid this dump at any and all costs. Piccolinos is a great alternative down the road. Hell, I'd rather try the shady Chinese food place on Main Street rather than subject myself to this place again. Just...gross

Dining experience was lovely , staff was very friendly , food was absolutely delicious !! We dined in around 2pm on a weekend and wasn't too busy at all . Portions were generous ! 4pc (full order ) Fried Catfish with a side of fries . Cleanliness was a 10 in salad bar and dining area , but can't say the same for the restrooms lol.
