I remember this place as a kid after church headed in for a ? and ? meal... back then, it was shiny, bright and full of luster!I recently wanted to rekindle the memories and a taste of the old so stepped in, and to my dismay, the place was horrific. Years of build on the rugs and floor. I don't know if any of you have ever worked fast food, but it was like the kitchen slip and slide of a floor was under my feet. Then, as I decided to get it to go, I learned there was no ketchup, no salt, no pepper, no napkins, straws, no lids and no ice... needless to say, the whole place needs a makeover top to bottom. Even a retraining of staff to ensure proper customer satisfaction... Won't be going back soon.

Filthy dirty place. Greasy floors, spider webs everywhere, air conditioning vents covered with dirt right behind the counter!People with long hair not tied back or up handling your food. Just awful ?They burnt my clams! One bite and I threw them out. The rest of my food was cold too.

We stopped at this location for a quick meal while on vacation in Carlsbad.The food tasted good and was all correct. They were out of several things such as bacon and CO2 so there were no Cokes and they didn't have tea either. We felt a little ripped off since when we tried to order they still rang us up as a meal with a drink even though we couldn't get a drink.

I would give this place a ZERO star rating but one is the lowest rating. Out of CO2 yet still charged for a pepsi! Tried the lemonade but there was no flavor and the color was a light pink. Charged 99 cents extra for cheese on the coney cheese dog! We ordered a coney combo comes with drink and frys. We ordered a side order of frys. We were charged for two orders. We brought it to the attention of the cashier and he walked away. Service was horrible!

This LJS is okay.The place seems to be going down slowly. Although the service was decent to good, the place seemed to not have enough servers working, yet very few customers were in the restaurant, so this is understandable. But even the restroom didn't have toilet paper in it. Awkward & total inconvenient. ?The food is as always greasy, hard, and pretty-much edible. Fries, yuck. Hush puppies were very good. Shrimp, okay. And fish was okay.

I've been here a few times and it is always the same: The food is great, the people always very nice...but the restaurant itself is a dump. Not sure how franchising compliance with LJS is these days, you don't see many of them any more, but this place is in need of some serious physical improvement. Again, no knock on the nice people I have dealt with every time - and the food is always hot and fresh. A shame they have to work in these digs - and no, I do not dine in - always drive through.

Chicken and hush puppies were very good. Service was decent. I did notice they really need a new menu and paint job lots of keep up with has been neglected. Makes me sad even the side of some equipment looked dirty when all was needed is a wipe down this place seriously needs a makeover. But at least the food isn't bad.

It was ok. It desperately needs to be renovated though. It's very dingy. The tables and chairs are sticky and extremely wobbly. They also didn't have half the menu available, including floats! Like, floats are a staple. The cashier told me they no longer had them available. There are also NO CHANGING TABLES for babies/toddlers!
