Stopped by after a trip up to the Sandia Mountains. Great atmosphere, seating, service, and food. Learned that everything is made in-house, which was a plus to the quality. Will definitely go back after a mountain run.

Probably the best Huevos Rancheros I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop in. So glad we did. Prices are very reasonable.

We were greeted and seated right away. Order was taken after drinks were delivered. Food (Huevos Rancheros x 2) came out quickly, was hot and delicious! Hubby said the best he has ever had!

Unfortunately this is probably the worst restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Service was great our waitress was nice and fast. The owner was very nice as well. The food was absolutely terrible. My chicken burrito was a tortilla some chicken and cheese that wasn’t even melted. The sweet potato fries were really bad as well. The person I went with had enchiladas which was fried corn tortillas with unmelted cheese on it. 42.00 later and I really Regret not walking out once i saw The place was empty.

If you don't like people you should stay away from retail sales. I'm never going back. Cold people too bad!

Food - We started with the Green Chilli Stew ($6.00) - and ate it so fast we forgot to take a photo! It was very tasty, the pork was tender, there was nice chunks of potatoes, celery and carrots. They also serve it with a small fluffy (fresh made) tortilla (Order the Bowl, You'll want more). I ordered the French Dip ($15.00), the bread was nice and airy, the meat was grilled to perfection and the cheese was gooey. Fries were house cut and really good and crispy. He ordered the Bird House Burrito ($16.00) - 1 large flour tortilla filled with refried beans, ground beef, topped with ribbon fry, smothered in your choice of red or green chile. Garnished with pico de Gallo and sour cream. This dish was also really good and very filling. Sodas were $2.00 and refills included.Service - Perfection! Greeted as soon as we stepped in the door, and shown to a table. Asked for our drink order, came back with drinks and asked about starters, and then came back to take our order. Offered suggestions and kept our drinks refilled. Fast and friendly.Atmosphere - There is a small town, family owned vibe going on here. It is more than just a cafe or a restaurant, it is a place you want to keep coming back to. It is also one of the few restaurants in the area that is open at 8am.

My food was cold.I asked for little beans, and I got mostly beans. It can be hit or miss.I've come to realize there are few restaurants here, therefore they don't have to compete for patrons.I don't eat to much at any of them anymore....

This place sucks. They jacked up my order so I had to send it back and then I never got my meal. The waitress was nice but it took for ever to get our food. To be fair to this place they appeared to be understaffed so it may not have been entirely their fault. But the entire experience wasn't worth what my family and I paid. I would not recommend driving to the mountains just to never get your order. And honestly I'm being generous to this place. If I wasn't I might say that the brain dead waitress only knew how to seat people at tables and some how she screwed that up because we were waiting to be seated while the only waitress was playing on her phone behind the cash register. She never gave us or even offered us refills. The waitress never checked on us to see if we were enjoying our meal but she just played on her phone. I noticed that whenever people came into the place the only waitress took a while to even notice that there were customers because SHE WAS PLAYING ON HER PHONE!!!! Honestly that is just rude behavior to people who are paying your establishment. They burned my mom's food when she asked for it to be warmed up. Because it was cold her food came out and the waitress said "be careful the plate is hot the cook put it in the oven" when it simply could've used a minute in a microwave. The entire thing was burnt and looked like a dry blood puddle on her plate. The only good thing I had was the green Chile stew and the water.
