Brisket should not be hard, dry and chewey, which this was. Pork was mush, only thing worth anything was the mac/cheese sausage.

Great service, but the food wasn't good at all!! And it surely wasn't worth $40.….. ?. Maybe they'll get it together in time, but the first impression wasn't good at all!

The food is great, but everytime we order Door Dash, they are ALWAYS out of chicken. We gave the benefit of the doubt because we always ordered later so we just assumed they went through their daily portion of it. But here we are, before 4pm, ordering chicken sandwiches, and our Dasher just called to tell us they are out of chicken and we had to get something else. I don’t think we will order from here again.

This is the third time we have attempted to eat here. Never again. Each time, they haven't had items and the service has been poor. They were out of items before 7pm on a Friday. No wonder there are no cars in the lot.

Food has great flavor, service was quick, little disappointed in the $4 piece of pie that arrived cold and was a small piece.

When you walk in you smell the real smoke, the staff is very friendly, and the food is always delicious. It is slightly expensive but you get good barbecue so you’re paying for what you’re getting. When I went in today (22 Feb 2024) the two gentlemen working the front were very friendly and quick. I recommend this place to all my friends wanting good BBQ.

This is my 4th return to Dickeys BBQ in Clovis and some how it seems the meat is cooked differently. It’s Hot. Not like warm or microwaved heating it feels and taste like they have been cooking all day! Off the bbq grill! My first visit they forgot the toast. Just seen the guy (Kita) who prepared my food and told him about that incident. With a smile and Without any hesitation or a blink he said he would make it right this time!He was very courteous and his customer service skills reflected his willingness to make my return visit pleasant and filling! That is why Every time I am in Clovis I stop at Dickeys!Thank you and looking forward to my next return

We PRE reserved items to pick up at 3:30 pm Super Bowl Sunday. We show up at 3:30 to find a note on the door, "Due to weather we will be closed today" This is an absolut show of what bad management is!! If you close because it snowed, you should call all the people who reserved items to take to Super Bowl parties. No Call, No Cancelation just don't show up, ps manager, showing up and being consistant is a tool to success.THANK GOD Rib Crib whipped up our exact order we had reserved with Dickey's. Our suggestion would be to never count on Dickey's. Google makes you leave at least 1 star, our's would be NO stars!

First, nearly all Texans avoid Dickeys BBQ. Then a genius decided to open a Dickeys BBQ in Clovis, NM....right down the street from Texas Roadhouse and RibCrib=not smart. Drive past Dickeys and you'll see an empty parking lot. For good reason, Dickeys BBQ taste like boo-boo. Whoever in corporate who is responsible for seasoning and BBQ flavor needs to find a new career because Dickeys has failed at the main purpose of BBQ, flavor. Point blank, Dickeys BBQ meat and sides lack seasoning and BBQ flavor! Its TASTE LIKE SHAT!! Go to Rudy's BBQ, Texas Roadhouse or RibCrib. Every backyard bbq cook and produce BBQ that taste better than Dickeys. If you eat at Dickeys, you do not have a functioning tongue.

Imagine my surprise when I bit into my garlic Parmesan wings and they were raw. Not a little undercooked. Like raw-raw. We then called Dickey’s to let them know and the “manager” whose name sounded like Beatrice said “they were cooked to temperature…what do you want? I can cook you a brownie”. So our experience was that we received dangerous food and then a response letting us know that it was basically our fault for trusting them with our food. Good job Dickey’s! I now know where your name comes from.

I would definitely recommend! First time eating here and have not heard great things but I would say try it for yourself before believing what people say. We had a platter with sausage, chopped brisket, ribs, Mac n cheese, and okra. Also a combo with a pulled pork sandwich and fries. All the meat in the platter was cooked well. Ribs came right off the bone with tenderness. The okra was so delicious and Mac n cheese very good as well. The sandwich was loaded with pulled pork. I feel the portions served were almost too generous. Our food was ready about 5 minutes after we ordered. The two gentlemen were very polite and professional and provided just flat out comfortable customer service. Would definitely recommend trying before knocking this place.

Nasty and overpriced. Dickey’s portion sizes for the price is hilarious. The food at this location is disgusting. We showed up right after opening when everything should be fresh. All of our sides looked like they have been sitting out all night. The brisket was not “smoked” more like overcooked in a crock pot or prepackaged. On top of all this, staff seems overwhelmed and kind of rude. Do not waste your time with this locations the location at the Portales Fun Center is a lot better.
