I've always enjoyed Amigos burritos. Shared them with visiting family and friends. However, my last experience was not good. I'm not sure if they have new owners again or what. But their idea of a JUMBO BURRITO is different. AND, THE bean and cheese is more $6. The burrito I got is maybe worth $2.50. So, I don't think I'll be going back ?

I do not live in Deming but I stop every time I travel between New Mexico and Arizona to buy as much as $50 +. I religiously get several items. I enjoy the service but the hours of operation are not correct online. If business is not going to be open until the stated time of 4pm they should change the hours on line to reflect correct closing time. 3 times in the last month I have gotten off the freeway to find them closed early, well before 4. I quit going when I can’t depend on a business. If you’re gonna close before four, change the hours online, then I know not to waste my time

Food was great, made to order, and hot. They made some upgrades inside, fresh paint. The burrito I ordered was great, hot, jumbo. It got a little messy, so ask for extra napkins.Parking: Plenty of parking, easy access.

Stopped by because I was craving a green chili bean burrito. I was not disappointed Jumbo burrito 5.75. Very tasty, customer service was great and the food was out quick. The atmosphere is small and cozy, no tables to sit and eat. It's usually the small mom and pops places that have really great food. Don't let the look of this place keep you from going in it will be worth it. Speak English and Spanish.

Great little takeout restaurant. The breakfast burritos are large, inexpensive and delicious (I get bacon, egg, potato, cheese). The smothered burrito plates are AWESOME and also huge. I get the plates and extra sides of rice and beans--a whole container of each is about 2 dollars. Call in your order for pickup for faster service. My favorite takeout place. Wish they were opened on weekends!

There's a few things I wouldn't get here (tamales) but the burritos and the burrito plates are awesome. The red enchiladas are good sometimes, but sometimes they are made with the red powder or something. The portions are large, the beans and rice are delicious if you get the plate. I love the place and wish they were open weekends! I was last there about two weeks ago.

My family has been going to Amigo's since the 1970's to buy their tamales since they were arguably the best in the southwest - that was then.... I was driving through New Mexico yesterday and thought I'd grab me a couple dozen pork tamales since I haven't been able to do so in a couple of years. Back on the road, a little while later, I reached for one and was met with a tamale wrapped in a faux corn husk i.e. paper. Ok I said "never judge a book by its cover." Unwrapping the paper was a chore since most of the amorphous mass inside the paper had stuck to the paper; the "tamale" itself reminded me of mushy grits with bland meat inside. You couldn't even hold the tamale for fear of it slithering through your fingers all over your lap. WHAT HAPPENED AMIGOS!! So if you have a desire for the best tamales in the southwest - go somewhere else. Even out-of-the can Hormel Tamales are better than these. Total waste of money and I now have less than two dozen tamales to figure out which one of my worst enemies I will gift to at Christmas!

Great food and the service is incredibly great...this was 5 years ago now tamales are awful not authentic tamales. Try something else but tamales do not I repeat do not buy horrible!!!!!!!
