Hometown type dinner. Not fancy, but the burgers were great. Service was lackluster. Waited for a long time for a drink refill and never got it, even after requesting it. I get that the place was busy, but that you’d think they would put more effort for the tip. Maybe we went on a bad day, who knows. All in all, I’d go again for the food… but I’ll bring a water bottle just in case.
Coming through Gallup, wanting to support small business, we went into Grandpa's Grill. Great family (generation) owned place! New for us to order at the counter when we walk in, especially not being familiar with the menu, 3 of us, trying to figure out what we wanted, but we managed. Great burgers, you can tell/taste it is real meat! Really nice topping bar for burgers, and nice to get what/ how much we wanted for our burgers. We also ordered fajitas - YUMMY!!! We are on a trip from Michigan and we thought we would try this place. It was a great decision! The people who are hosting and serving do a terrific job and the food was very good ? One of the best meals we have had on our trip so far!
