Been here about a dozen times now. It's becoming one of our go to spots for a night out. It's got some amazing tacos and the tortas are also incredible. I'd really recommend the brisket and the barbacoa but I've tried lots of the others and honestly I don't think they have a bad taco in the place lol.Atmosphere is really nice in here too. It's modern without being stuffy or uncomfortable and all the staff are always super nice and accommodating of my high maintenance requests (food allergies lol).

I didn't like this place at all. I hadn't tried this place in about 5 years, hoped that it would be better but it wasn't. Not worth your time or money. I hate to knock down a small business.

Disappointing all the way around, including the way the "manager's sister" aka floor manager MAKES YOU PAY FOR SHRIMP COCKTAIL THAT WAS BORDERLINE ROTTEN. My husband will eat anything, and never sends his food back!! But, he sent this back. We understand that things happen, that's not the issue. The issue is that a patron should not be made to pay for an item that would literally be flagged by the health department if tested! I guess a shrimp cocktail was worth losing customers, because we will never be back to Rock N Taco! Learning the hard way about how valuable good customer service is will certainly be costly for a new establishment. I have noticed several bad reviews on other sites, groups, and pages, but I don't always listen to bad reviews! This time I should have! Go spend your money somewhere that has good food and better customer service! I would bet they will appreciate the patronage, unlike Rock N Taco! Very sad, Hobos needed a good place to eat!

Honestly, 2/10 only because I was hungry.Ordered birria tacos and they were basically chicken tacos that were spray painted red. Had no cheese in them, sauce was watered down, and 5 small tacos aren't worth $15 (nice illusion though). Also, the tacos were spicy by themselves.

OVERALLI went to Rock N' Taco hoping for some shrimp tacos, but was told they didn't have any shrimp (2/21/2023). After settling on fish tacos, I should have taken my brother's previous advice about their "barbakoa" tacos.RATING BREAKDOWNFood: 3 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 3 | Price: 3 PARKINGThere is usually ample parking in the lot. Street parking is also within walking distance for trucks/trailers. LOCATION/AMBIANCEI didn't even bother with changing the location from Bender Blvd to Joe Harvey Blvd, but they are and have had their trailer parked next to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Enchanged Lands, REALTORS. Their menu needs a complete overhaul. It's difficult to read with all of the price changes and markouts. Too busy.THE GRUBThe fish taco plate ($14.55 including tax & card payment fee) was okay. I was asked if I wanted onion and cilantro along with red or green salsa. Without the onion and cilantro, these four small street-style tacos would have been pathetic. The fish was not battered or left whole. Instead it was cooked much in the same way you would ground beef. The red salsa was very flavorful with a kick. The rice was plain - no veggies infused - and a very small amount was dished into my takeout box styrofoam. The pinto beans were okay. This plate also came with a canned soda of my choosing... Fanta Orange.LITTLE YELPER'S CLUBNo kid's meals were available. SERVICEFriendly. Helps if you speak Spanish otherwise there may be a slight language barrier when asking for recommendations. I was given a buzzer in case I wanted to sit in my vehicle, I assume, as it was a bit breezy and chilly. The food came out fast and hot.MY FAVORITE PART...Supporting my locals. I just wasn't crazy about these street tacos. Living in Los Angeles, CA, for the past 10 years spoiled me.NOT SO FAVORITE PART...I did not like the fish chopped up. Aside from that, it had that "fishy" taste. Also, there is a 3.75% fee to use a debit/credit card that I was not made aware of. I didn't see a sign for this either.TIPI'll be trying their barbacoa whether it's beef or pork next time.

Waiting on average 30-40 minutes to get food

I enjoyed my Chicken tacos and the side sauce that came with them. I love trying new places and small businesses in particular. The truck is a little pricier - higher than an indoors Mexican restaurant in my opinion. However, I still liked their set up because they had permanent picnic tables and benches outside. Also, the food felt more authentic than some of the others I've went to in town. My service was good as well. I intend to try some different items in the future. I wasn't feeling super adventurous the first time I went.

I would like to tell you how the food was, but we never got any. We drove by and saw that the windows were open and the open sign was on, but after waiting about 10 to 12 minutes no one was inside the food truck and no one ever came. So we left. Too bad, the food has smells really good in the past as we have driven by and we were excited to try it. There was no sign saying they went to the bathroom... Nothing.

Hands down the best birria I have tried so far. I travel frequently and search for birria. I have tried about 15 different restaurants in Texas and New Mexico.
