“I found this truck at the BBBS Mud Volleyball Tournament at Blue Moon. I went to it because there was no line. Why was there no line? These tacos were AMAZING! I got the trio combo and each taco was overstuffed and bursting with "far out" flavor. I will be looking for these guys at future events!“
“Our first time here. We ordered several different dishes and took home. They packaged the to go food so well. I'm picky and don't mix my foods, and was so grateful for the separation of ingredients. The prices seemed pretty standard, and the cuisine was definitely more Mexican than New Mexican or Tex Mex. The location is in a rough area but the inside is super clean and cute.Everything from the sauces to the entrees were EXCELLENT. Fresh, flavorful, cooked to perfection. We are medium with heat and loved that we could taste everything without our mouths burning, but also got a kick from the red/green sauces and the tamales. My favorite was the fajitas plate. My husband's favorite was the enchiladas. We will definitely be back.*Update: we've been back a few times. Unfortunately there is in consistency in the food. Sometimes it's better than others. I think they're still good but not consistently.“

“I eat at Cocina every time I am in town from ABQ. I wish there was one in ABQ. I can not find a decent potato taco up north. Everything I’ve tried at Cocina is pure class. Outstanding potato tacos! Salsa is the best in Las Cruces since My Brothers place closed. I would give 6 stars if it was an option.“
“I've eaten their food a couple times now, and it was great both times. On our last visit, we got menudo and pozole. My wife commented the pozole was packed with pork! My menudo was very good as well. In addition to the usual chips and salsa, they also give you a little cup of Queso which was nice. We finished with a churro donut which was a steal at $0.99!“
“Best Tortas! The man making them is very kind. It is a little hidden and I think those are the best places to find the best food. It was sprinkling just a bit and its outdoors but there is a table to sit that is covered. I definitely would go back next time I drive through.“

“food is hands down so great!! the birria tacos are to DIE for and they provide so much of the chili sauce, its delicious. i will say its a bit pricey but i guess its reasonable for how good they are and since its such a smaller business. the only problem is that the parking is horrible! the parking ONLY fits around 4-5 cars which is quite annoying but AGAIN its sort of worth it because of how good it is!“
“Pleasant discovery!Lalo himself greeted us and carefully explained the menu. It is a Mexican food truck par excellence!Everything was served very hot and fresh. We had the asada tacos and some fries with a side of rajas. Complimentary Buenelos! Just wonderful.Seating is rustic and parking is on street, but worth the culinary experience. We will definitely be back for more and bring some friends and family with us.“
