Waitress was friendly and attentive. My Chile relleno was great! My husband's bean burrito was only so so. Very plain decor.

This is a classic local diner and the menudo and huevos rancheros are absolutely some of the best in town! We love supporting this local restaurant.

If you're ever in Las Cruces, NM, LUCY'S CAFE IS A MUST! Delicious food, GREAT SERVICE, and a cute, affordable small time diner atmosphere. We were passing thru from Round Rock, Tx to Mesa, AZ and found this gem on S Valley Dr close to the Walmart. Our waitress Carmen was sweet, friendly and attentive. Lucy the owner must hire folks just like herself! We'll definitely be back sooner than later!

My favorite breakfast spot! I meet friends here frequently. The ladies who own/operate the place are family, and they treat all their guests like family, too. The cheeseburgers are simple, but crave-worthy. There's a white sauce (secret recipe) that goes great on everything. Love these gals!

Lucy’s is hands down one of my favorite places in Las Cruces for New Mexican and diner food: PERFECT menudo, chiles rellenos, huevos rancheros, and chicken fried steak; everything is delicious, and it’s locally owned. ?️ ♥️

We ordered a cheeseburger, breakfast sandwich, chicken fried steak and a cinnamon roll. All of it was just ok not great. The chips and salsa were very good and the servers were attentive. But it wasn't really that great that we would return
I would not recommend this restaurant at all. The service was awful. They tried to make it seem like a friendly dinner experience, but I asked questions about something on the menu, and our waitress answered me in a very condescending tone. That should have been my first clue that this was not going to be a good experience. Then we were waiting for over an hour before we just left without getting our food. We saw a group come in after us and get their food before us which was the final straw. Our order wasn't complicated (an omelet and a bowl of menudo) so there was no reason that should have taken that long. I definitely won't be going back.

Was sad to see Old Town restaurant close a few years back, it had been my family's go-to spot for weekend breakfast and lunch for years. Visited once after had it opened as another restaurant and was not impressed. After hearing that the restaurant had opened up again with a new owner that was one of Old Town's staff, decided to try it again. I loved it! I had asked our server if I could get some enchiladas (ground beef with green chile sour cream sauce) that they used to make back in the Old Town days and was told that they could. They were exactly that same! Glad to have visited for my birthday lunch with my sons. I will be returning soon and do recommend Lucy's for a great meal!
