Just mediocre. The meat was tender, but it wasn't what I call BBQ.

I've never been disappointed here. The food is always above par. If I can't eat in, we will always order for pick up and have a few days of choices of BBQ. Go here for some great food!
Their breakfast bowls can't be beat and the staff is super

I tried Rudy's while in Las Cruces. I got the chopped bbq, it was sauced nicely, and had good flavor, a little more char or burnt ends would be good. The bean salad wasn't what I was expecting from a bbq place, it looked like a 4 bean salad from a Winn Dixie. The tater salad was decent though. I did order a sweet tea but that wasn't with the order, I'm guessing the door Dasher forgot that. The sauce was pleasantly sweet with tang.

We have eaten at Rudy's several times over the past year. It seems that the quality of the food is going downhill. The last two visits the brisket has been tough and cold. The buns were burned on our sandwich. The regular sausage had very little flavor. The potato salad was good. One thing that really bothered me, one of the employees was getting cobbler and it was obviously the bottom of the pan. It looked terrible, mostly crust with hardly any fruit. She couldn't decide whether to use it or get a new pan. She asked a coworker for her opinion, and she shook her head. She then asked the manager who was standing right there and the manager told her to serve it. Sure glad I didn't order cobbler! You could tell that the employee thought the manager was wrong. At least she cared!!

Great customer service and mostly this is a ridiculous value. I don't remember the last time I had meat this quality for this price. A very laid back place to have a really great meal.

We spend over $60 on 2 adults and 2 kids to eat, only to leave disappointed and hungry. I went home and ate cereal after. The potato salad is too sweet, the beans were not bbq beans, the coleslaw had no dressing on it just crunchy bitter cabbage. My brisket was the only thing that was decent, but i asked for lean and still sat there taking all the fat off the brisket they gave me. We were extremely disappointed. Never going back for sure. I paid $40 the next day for us to eat at McAllisters (which was amazing) and we swore we'd never waste our money at Rudys again.
