Just such a nice place to eat outside right in the plaza of Mesilla. The food is always delicious.

First time going to don Felix and will not be returning . Service is very slow and the portions for the price is not worth it . Was not asked if I wanted a refill on my sodas. We ordered an appetizer and it took quite a bit of time to get to the table . It's was just the fundido board which was just warmed up cheese . The place wasn't busy at all . I then ordered the queso burger and it was raw . We let the girl know that the burger was raw and the waitress didn't really offer to do anything to fix it . Not worth spending my money here and I recommend you don't either .

Criminally small bowl of posole for the money. I was definitely expecting more for the price. I paid almost $30 for two bowls, each with about a cup of soup, I'm pretty sure the jalapeño "cornbread" was just a slice of toasted sourdough.

Café with poor quality coffee, no TP and watered down pozole. It's a FAILURE! Waste of my time and money. All the toilet paper is locked up, that's so ridiculous!! Ask for some TP before you go. Horrible service. Never asked to refill drinks. Waitress is untrained. Ran out of proper coffee and served me terrible instant junk, worst I've had at restaurant, i had better coffee at a dirty garage in Haite. I've never had such watered down pozole before either. I'll never go to this failure again.

Food is a little bit more pricey for the amount of food given. Ambiance is cute outside. Inside has a few tables with a cute mural. I was not honestly a fan of the food, but my friends liked their burgers. I got the carne asada taco.

Waited 10 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged us party of 2. The restaurant was not busy. Four tables with 2 people each were being attended. Waitress finally came over and said we'd have to wait another 5 to 10 minutes before she could even take a drink order. I asked for water. She said she couldn't. A couple came in and sat down after us. I asked to speak to a manager. She said no. She went over, spoke to them, and took their drink order. I spoke to the manager. The manager was not interested in the issue. We left and will never return.

It is kinda sad when you go to a restaurant. You look at the menu, you ask what domestic beers they have. And they have none then you say. Okay, what imports do you have? They tell you, you order those, and they come back and say we don't have that either. The young lady that assisted us, she was amazing. She was great, but the management is very rude. And they don't seem like they really even wanna be open. No matter what we order, there was either a problem or they were out of it.

The meals are very beautifully prepared and delicious. A real treasure on the square in Old Mesilla.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options. The decaf coffee is delicious!

My wife and I had a delicious lunch here on Sunday. I had the nopales tamale, which was spectacular, and my wife had the carne asada tacos, which were spectacular.Service was friendly and efficient.

Good service, cute ambiance. Food is a hit or miss. Their asada tacos were not good. Neither was Their breakfast bowl. Their burgers were good. Prices are a bit pricier for the amount of food given.

The food is superb. Excellent location. My 4 tacos cost 20 bucks. You pay for the view too. If everyone could afford it, there would never be any room in that joint. I love the outdoor seating with covering. We had our doggy with us. They had a special Mother’s Day band playing, it was a treat for mothers. I’ve been here 3 times so far- and looking forward to many more times.

If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant that serves up some seriously delicious tacos, look no further than Don Felix Cafe.I ordered the carne asada tacos, which were some of the best I've ever had. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. But what really blew me away were the vegan tacos. As someone who isn't usually a fan of vegan food, I wasn't expecting much, but these tacos exceeded all my expectations. The filling was hearty and well-seasoned, and the toppings were just as fresh and flavorful as those on the carne asada tacos. One thing that really sets this restaurant apart is the presentation of the tacos, as most places this is a negative, but as I quickly discovered, the flavors were even better than the presentation. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients really shines through in every bite.Overall, I was extremely impressed with this Don Felix Cafe and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for delicious tacos. Whether you're a meat-eater or a vegan, you're sure to find something to love on the menu.

First time in Las Cruces a few weeks ago to visit a great friend of mine, and a top priority was to experience the Mexican or New Mexican food scene here. I tried several spots which didn’t do much for me, but finally Don Felix saved the day on Saturday. Nice ambiance, live music always a plus, but the food….mmmm delish. From the chips and salsas, to the taquitos, and last but not least carne asada tacos. I could eat them everyday and be happy. Hands down best taco spot in Las Cruces.

If you want to pay a lot of money for terrible food, this is the place to do it. We ordered a burger for our kids that was super raw. They made another one and it was burnt to a crisp. We order items is box marked best food or their suggestion. I didn't eat even half. Go anywhere else in Mesilla.
