Even though it was late, and the store was closed, they responded letting me know the options available to stay gluten friendly. “Well, our waiter asked what we wanted to drink before we even sat down at our table. Then our table was too close to another table where people were already sitting so we had to move it. Then my cup had a crack in it and my drink was leaking everywhere so asked for a new Cup and she gave me a new one with new dr pepper and the Dr pepper tasted nasty cause it ran out of carbonation. Then our waiter got our order of wings wrong. We asked for 16 mild chicken traditional wings, and she gave us bonless chicken wings.. she forgot to tell us that the traditional wings only come with 12. So instead she gave us something we didn't ask for but it was fine. We ate it. I believe at the end she gave us a discount.“
“This was my third visit to Roosevelt Brewing, and each time I come I ask myself why I don’t venture over here more often. After all, it’s only 90 minutes from home, and the beer is all top shelf. I consider this one of the better breweries in the West Texas/Eastern New Mexico region.If I had to make any one criticism, it would be that there wasn’t an IPA on the rotating menu this time. But there was a tasty alternative: Portales Pale Ale (5.5% ABV), a very approachable and flavorful beverage that had the mouthfeel of an IPA, but without any bitter aftertaste. It was so good that I went through three of them during an extended lunchtime session. Alas, that last glassful drained the keg, and there was no more. I had hoped to take some home. Not to worry, though, as their Vienna Lager is another tasty froth that I had sampled before. I ordered up their new growler design and took a half gallon home to Texas.For lunch I ordered the veggie burger on a gluten-free bun. If food is art, then they win points for how good this looked on the plate, with a side of fries helping fill out the space. I was completely sated and ready to head home, but this time firm in my resolve that I won’t let so many months elapse before returning.Vegetarian options: They have a most excellent veggie burger!“
“Hey man this place is stand up all the way through. Super nice and great customer communication skills. I had an issue, late in the game too, about 1120pm, they definitely understood and got right on it I had a fresh pizza in about 10 mins flat. DELICIOUS stuff too.. I don't know these guys' names but raise dem cats some $'s/h.“
