I absolutely love everything about this place, from the atmosphere to the customer service & cleanliness. This is my favorite cafe in Portales because they serve the best variety of drinks/food. However, I will say that I’m a little bit disappointed in the past couple sandwiches I’ve gotten because they barely put anything on it & it’s mostly bread. :( I’ll continue to go back, I just think the sandwiches should have bigger portions since they are about $8 each.

Always great food. Our fave sandwich is the Rueben. The chicken salad is equally as good. No better ice cream in the area and is all made on location. My fave is the lemon curd - yum! The also, have the best lattes in town - sipping 2-3 times a week. You cannot get a better sandwich and latte anywhere in town.

I wish I could give more stars! The employees are wonderful people with phenomenal service. The atmosphere is fun with a cool vibe. The food is the best ever. Everything we tried was delicious. Favorites were a potato soup bread bowl and carrot cake. You won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful vibe! Hospitality that was missing everywhere else but here. Staff was super friendly, and Peggy was a sweetheart. It was exactly what we needed for our long drive to Arkansas! We will absolutely be stopping here again.
