Food is really bad , we have come several times trying again. It takes really long to get your food. No wait , but obviously why ... Even forgot to bring a plate out this time .

We love eating at Cazuela's great Food, Beer and friendly staff. We did notice the last two visits a bad smell in restrooms and this last visit it was hitting out in the lobby also. Hope it will be fixed soon. Thanks for your time and service to Rio Rancho.

This place used to be good, but it has been run down. Service is okay, but what can you expect of one man show, so it was okay. It used to be sooooo

Found this place on google maps to eat breakfast on my business trip. This is hidden gem place, located slightly off the the main road. Awesome friendly atmosphere felt as soon as you enter. Great decoration theme, feels like the owner put his heart into it. All chairs have restaurant name engraved, I thought it was pretty cool. Chips and salsa served as appetizers which is a plus. Very reasonable pricing. I’m definitely returning again to try their other plates for lunch/dinner

Been doing taco Tuesday’s for years at Cazeula’s. The tacos are legit. Their home brewed beer has a wide range for everyone’s pallets and Marie (server) has been there for years, she makes my wife and I feel like family! If there’s a downside, I would say Covid hit them particularly hard. They’re still recovering, with staff shortages and open only 4-days/wk. hopefully the recent growth at the microchip across the street will put them all the way back on the map!

I used to eat Cazuelas twice a week for years when they were across the street and before they opened their restaurant. They always had great service and great food. Came back today to visit after 8 years and I can honestly say I was disappointed. No one said hello when we walked in. The server wasn't paying attention to our order requests and the salsa, well at this point...don't bother serving it. It's watery and has ZERO flavor. The food was burnt and had no spice. The owner walked by us a few times and he didn't even say hello and didn't even get a smile or a nod. There were only 5 tables in the whole restaurant at this time. He tended to the two drunk people at the bar though. I was sadly disappointed and won't be back.

Beer is excellent!!! Hours of operation are horrible though...close at 5 on Saturday?...Close at 3 on Sun with football season on?...Just wish they were open so I can enjoy their food and beer

Cannot get enough of their queso chili fries. We were there on a slower day, it wasn't horribly busy, there was a wait for the food to cook of course, which was very worth any length of wait time in my opinion. Highly recommend even if it's busy.

Thank you to the Hostess & Cook at Cazuelas on 9/5/2023. I read their closing time wrong & thought they'd be open for another hour. The Hostess was willing to have them provide a "to go" order & as it was being made she offered me dine in. I was more than happy to take it with me, as honestly 7 minutes before closing, they still filled the order! The Steak Tampiqueña was delicious as always.

We have been eating at Casuelas for many years. We have been dining with them since they were in their old location. The service has always been very attentive. Very friendly staff. Our favorite items are their homemade tortillas, burritos, desebrada tacos, regular tacos for taco Tuesdays, their chips and salsa is wonderful and so are there rice and beans. They have a great posole, green chile stew, and the red and green chili sauces have great flavor. The only disappointing thing about this establishment now is their hours. Very weird hours and it is hard to find them open to accommodate our time. It is sad that they had to change their hours so drastically and be closed 3 days a week. But we recommend this restaurant and they're wonderful food to everyone.
