I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of baked beans. The bun was perfectly toasted on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pulled pork was flavorful and the sauce was good too. For the baked beans, I didn’t have high expectations but those were really good as well. I left a clean plate. The only unfortunate thing is I don’t live in this state!

We had the best experience with the friendliest go getter. He not only works the bar but leads the the restaurant. He did not have to be reminded of our drink and he kept it full!!!. We didn’t eat but our friends said it’s very much like the best BBQ in the country KANSAS CITY!!!

The building and decor are really cool. Loved it.I went for the brisket, but they didn't have any. That was disappointing. I went for the 2 meat platter with ribs and sausage with coleslaw. They were all good. Not great, but solid. The price is too high for me. $33 for the 2 meat platter, soda, tax, and tip. Ouch! It was not worth $33.

My family stopped at this place on a whim after driving back from Carlsbad Caverns. It was absolutely delicious!! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was just awesome. Even as out-of-towners, we felt like one of the locals. Highly recommend for any one in the mood for some BBQ.Kid-friendliness: Nice 3 options for kiddos.

We went for a late lunch. The wife and I split the BBQ Sampler. Brisket, ribs, and chicken, with coleslaw. It was good but to be honest I have had better. Brisket and chicken were a little dry. Ribs were good, but they give new meaning to "fall off the bone". Service was ok.

5 Alarm Bowl great flavor combination. Baked beans, brisket, jalapeno sausage, and queso. Jalapeno sausage has a kick but it is not too hot. I would definitely eat this again.Layered Golden Potatoes - potatoes topped with smoked meat of your choice and queso.Friendly and efficient staff. Great atmosphere. Don't let the location hinder you. Go in. It is worth it. We would eat both of these items again.

WOW! The best ribs ever. A half rack is the size of a full rack elsewhere. Who knew my hubby and I would find the best BBQ in Roswell, NM! Oh the Mac and Cheese is creamy and wonderful. Oh and the baked beans and.. well... get to Roswell and don't miss this old firehouse turned best BBQ.

Okay, I dinged the place a little on the barbecue. I'm from Kansas City so my standards are world class or nothing. With that said the atmosphere here is awesome. Owned by a firefighter, the theming and overall feel of this place is top notch. They're never going to get five stars on their food from me (probably not happening anywhere outside of Kansas City or Memphis), but if you're looking for a cool barbecue restaurant in Roswell this place is definitely worth checking out.I should also mention they have an amazing meeting room available that would be perfect for weddings or other events.Kid-friendliness: Firefighter themed.

Well let me tell ya on par with some of the best brisket I have every had!! Found this place on accident when we were road trippin thru the area on a quest for BBQ trying to get to Amarillo, TX to hit Rudy’s before close but as the sun started setting we realized that we weren’t gonna make it and stared looking for spots in Roswell. Pulled in just before close and ordered take out go even tho the staff was friendly enough and totally would of let us eat slightly past close. We sat down at park down the road and indulge. On first bite we knew we made the right call it blew Rudy’s out of the water. Honestly, it’s right up there top of the list for “best brisket I have ever had” for both me and my dad. Couldn’t recall any other that were better. Way to go backdraft team!! Keep on and let the smokey times roll. Definitely will be planing any road trips thru the Roswell area to included a mandatory stop at backdraft. Hands down a must try!!

Cool place! Brisket was amazing, up there with the best we've tried. Service was friendly. Corn side dish was way too salty. Next time we're in Roswell we'll have to try it again.

All of the staff was very helpful, even the manager stopped by to ensure our family dinner was perfect. All good was cooked to perfection!! Would highly recommend the poppers as an appetizer or extra side for all to enjoy. Brisket Nachos, Ribs, and 5 Alarm are what we had!!!
