I've dined at nearly every restaurant in Roswell, and this particular establishment's cuisine was exceptionally delicious. Interestingly enough, this is the first time I am actually writing a food review. Also, the atmosphere of the restaurant, adorned with rustic decor and featuring two magnificent bullheads mounted on the walls, added a touch of Western charm that enhanced the dining experience.

It's been a long while since I've felt the need to leave a 1 star review but here it is. We visited at 2pm on a Saturday. One other table besides us. There are 4 servers at the desk on their phones and chatting. No big deal. A girl comes over and we order two unsweetened teas. Out come 2 sweet teas. No big deal. Mistakes happen. We let her know that my husband is diabetic and can't have sweet tea and she fixes the problem. Takes our order and asks if we want red or green sauce. A New Mexico tradition. I ask for "Christmas" and she has no idea what I mean. Again no big deal. Both red and green please. Our food comes out fairly quickly. It wasn't anything to write home about. But our glasses sat empty for a long while before she came over to check on us again. The 4 of them giggling and on their phones at the desk. She finally comes over when our plates are empty and we ask for a refill. She replys "unsweetened teas, right?" And we say right. She brings out two sweet teas again. When we told her, she looks at another server and says "you made the tea right? Are you sure it's unsweetened?" The other server says yes. So we didn't leave a tip. No applology or anything. So overall, the service is terrible and the food isn't worth it. There are many better options here in Roswell if you're craving Mexican food. Pick a different place.

Best Mexican food I've had in Roswell so far!! The menudo was clean with fresh pesoles and perfect seasoning and I loved the salsa with just the right heat.I will be going back to try the steak because the prices are so reasonable.

Food was alright but they used dark meat chicken and it made my faultas taste awful. Beans and rice were okay. Guac was great
Worst experience I have ever received! Service started out great, our waitress was polite and took our order promptly. Service quickly changed after that point. I had to approach the wait staff (4 teenagers standing behind the register giggling and playing with their phones) to request drink refills on two occasions. I have teenage girls so this behavior was somewhat expected and didn’t negatively impact us having a “nice” dinner at that point. Once receiving the first plate of our order, I patiently waited for my order to be brought out. After 20 minutes I had requested that someone check on my order. Our waitress went to the back and came back out to explain that the cook was cooking another table’s order first (table arrived 15-20 minutes after our arrival). I waited another 10 minutes before receiving and ultimately rejecting my order. At that point my partner had already eaten his meal and I was ready to leave. No apology was offered and waitresses seemed lackadaisical to the situation. Never again will we return to this establishment!

Not the BEST food but above average for the area. Most definitely not the best service. Waitresses are not attentive and do not stop back often. They come in and out of the kitchen back and forth looking clueless running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It wasn't very busy at all, 3 tables seated including our party of two. Way too many people staffed and too little customers at time of visit for it to be as chaotic as it was. Will return on good faith basis hoping for a better dining experience. This restaurant doesn't have queso, no free refills on chips, and no sauce of any kind served over top of burrito. Was very dry, had to request salsa Verde, which made it able to swallow. Also, the chimichanga wasn't fried. Isn't that what sets it apart from being just a burrito???
