Drove through Roswell on a recent road trip, and one of our troupe had a craving for Frybread tacos. A quick Google search showed Peppers had something in that vein, and happened to be open while we'd be in town.Unfortunately, not only did the Frybread tacos disappoint, but so did the rest of the food we got (a couple basic cheeseburgers). I was told the dough was pretty flavorless and the consistency was NOT what they were expecting. The rest of the ingredients were also pretty bland, and overall was a big letdown.The burgers also ranged from blegh to just downright bad. One was pretty much a charred hockey puck with nothing but "burned" as a flavor, and was extremely unappetizing to look at. The other was less charcoal and more appealing looking, but still had a strange taste, and was most likely a low quality pre-formed patty from something like Sysco foods that got thrown on the broiler for too long, with some fake smoke squirted onto it before serving.The fries, at least, were ok? The waitress was super awesome at least, and we had a fun conversation with her. No issues getting out food ordered or drinks refilled. Prices also seemed pretty fair considering the quantity of food delivered.We might have just come by at the wrong time, or maybe regulars know what you should really be getting on the menu, as other reviews seem pretty positive. Definitely don't recommend the Frybread tacos or burgers though! Look elsewhere if that's what you're craving.

Stop in for a bite after seeing the aliens International UFO Museum and Research Center and Gift Shop, the people here were very friendly and helpful, food was good, my sister had the ribeye sandwich, we had the smothered Indian fry bread. And a couple of margaritas.

Just OK, for "New Mexican" food. More of a mainstream experience, like an Appleby's. Everything seemed to be spiced with a generic "Mexican" blend that was too pushy and overwhelmed the food. The beans were watery and the only flavor that came through was the smoked bacon.We went there to try their green chile cheeseburger but I was wary upon seeing that it had a jalapeño bun - good green chile doesnt need jalapeno! Once I tasted the seasoning on the other food I was glad I veered off.Admittedly we were there later in the evening but the staff seemed tired and our waitress got several things wrong with our order.We were craving New Mexican food after spending time in Texas and I'm afraid Pepper's didn't provide it. If you're looking for a Southwest-themed Appleby's it should be fine.

This restaurant was recommended by a lady at the Visitors' Center. She was right! Highly recommend getting the chips and salsa. Our waitress was new, but very nice and attentive. The enchiladas were a little spicy for some of our party, but others thought they were just right. Very good flavor. The hamburgers were good, and the seasoned fries were tasty. We also tried the taco salad (very tasty), a Mexican bowl with steak ( excellent!), and the Mexican Reuben. The Reuben was tasty, but the flavors didn't mix as well as we had hoped. All in all, a very good place to stop, especially if you want a lot of different choices.
After a long day of shopping and exploring Roswell we got an to go order to take to our air b and b. I got the cheese burger and fries and it was delicious! I feel like I can be a bit picky and was very impressed with the taste and quality of food. The fries were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful seasoning. The burger was huge and had a char broiled taste with a great quality of beef patty! We will be back when we are in the are again for sure!

We were a party of six.The two children and one salad orders were the only ones that enjoyed their food.The fajita steak salad looked thrown together.My petite ribeye was dry and bland. The rice had hard pieces and I didn’t even attempt the beans. I asked for corn bread and got a dinner roll that was hard.The green Chile was cold with no flavor.The vaquero steak was also cold, bread was stale and hard, the cheese wasn’t even melted, the potatoe was over loaded with sour cream.Almost everything we had, especially the soup, needed salt.And my dress got caught on a panel exiting the bathroom and I tugged it off that it took off the panel

Amaaaaaazing service. Food was generally good but was mixed among my family members. Husband had the bowl with a hamburger patty and it was excellent! I had the chicken fried steak bowl and mine tasted like it was microwaved and the rice was mushy. The red chile tasted like it was from a can. We also had a BBQ burger which was excellent! If we visit again, we'll know how to order.
