Had a dinner here with a group of friends and the overall experience was fantastic! The service was impeccable and the team at Alkeme was very helpful in making decisions on the menu. All the food we ate was fantastic, especially the bao buns, crispy cod and pho. Some of the best food we ate in Santa Fe!

This was our first visit and we had an excellent meal. The service was exceptional. The hostess did an excellent job orienting us to the restaurant and the menu. Our waiter was timely, friendly and helpful. Both the owner and executive chef came by our table to say hello and greet us. Nice touch. We both had the meat forward tasting menu and every course was excellent. Loved the Vietnamese-French rice crepes and the short-ribs were tender and delicious.

Went here for a family dinner while they were visiting from out of town. The food was delicious, the presentations were beautiful, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Another delightful and artfully presented dinner. We enjoyed the seafood-centric tasting menu. Service was exemplary and unobtrusive. All Staff members were tuned to Guest satisfaction. This small and intimate dining venue is a downtown Santa Fe gem not to be missed!!

For our anniversary, Alkeme afforded us a memorable culinary experience. From the moment we entered the restaurant, till we left, we were treated royally. Each and every staff member was well schooled in all of the dishes and ingredients and shared that knowledge with us. It was obvious that they were happy in what they were doing. Each course was explained fully (tastes, textures, inspiration etc.). All of the food was painstakingly prepared. Each dish was creative, innovative and unique. My favorite dish was the "Seafood Mille-Feuille", my wife's was the "Taiwanese Three Cup Chicken". The "Miso Brown Butter Sesame Brownie" was over the top. Kudos to our server Ashley, Erica the chef and Hue-Chan Karels the owner. Alkeme is now our favorite restaurant for those special occasions and celebrations. Can't wait till we return.

Clearly one of Santa Fe's very best restaurants, especially if you're hungry for something surprising with every dish. Santa Fe punches way above its weight in the arts, music, and restaurateurs who know that world class dining is about more than just great food - and the Alkemé team shows it every time I've been there.

Wow! No reservations so we sat at the bar and now that is the only place I want to sit, eat, and observe. This is an amazing restaurant from the friendly faces of everyone to the fabulous food by Chef Erika. We did tasting menus 1 and 2 and left completely satisfied and almost giddy. There was nothing to find fault with whatsoever. The cocktails are made precisely like the description. The food is presented so elegantly. The atmosphere is charming. I love this place and can't wait to return.Great place to eat solo or with a group. You must check it out!

We were greeted with a radiant smile and were asked " Is...this...a date night"? Heck Yeah - that set the tone for the rest of the evening! I ordered Tasting Menu 1 and my wife Tasting Menu 2 which are Tapa-sized portions. Each Tapa was beautifully and painstakingly prepared - we traded tastes. Wow, there's nothing like these Tapas anywhere in Santa Fe! Asian influenced with quality ingredients, very imaginative, and not to mention incredibly tasty. I highly recommend either. I also saw larger portioned dished on the menu, which we'll go for those next time. The Staff is also worthy of high praises and I describe them generally as "Bright": well poised, service minded, and attentive; friendly, easy to engage, witty (and funny sometimes); well schooled on the dishes and ingredients, thereby well trained and supervised. They all seemed to be happy in what they were doing (which is NOT the norm in Santa Fe). Good job Ashley and crew! Chef came over and introduced herself and visited for a moment and came back around later to make sure everything has met our expectations. We had nothing to offer her but high praises and appreciation for what she has going which, in my opinion is a world glass operation and the cuisine to match. Oh, by the way - the Brownie that was part of Tasting Menu 1 is "Killer"! Never have I had a more chocolaty but lite pastry anywhere in the world - unbelievable kind of magic on that one., really.

Frankly, I was pretty disappointed with my evening at Alkeme. Prices are VERY high (which is, sadly, typical of high-end Santa Fe dining). But despite enjoying everything we ordered, nothing fell into the category of highly memorable. The flavors were creative and everything worked, but it simply did not meet the high expectations I'd had.

Truly AWFUL culinary experience. We ordered the 3 tasting (avg $75 each) menus to get a varied and cultured food experience. All 5 courses of each menu, 15 different plates, were all tasteless, soggy, and uninspired. (Food looks nothing like the photographs online). The servers were well intentioned but were lacking in knowledge ( no knowledge of the saké menu for example) and somewhat disengaged. Decor was below average but not terrible. I do not attain any pleasure from writing this less than stellar review. I do feel compelled to warn others to save their money and make another choice.

Three days later, we are still taking about how bad and expensive the food was. I just want people to save their money. Don’t believe the hype.

As Santa Fe locals (born and raised) me and my husband were thrilled to find this new place.Santa Fe has wonderful food but not a lot of fusion or “Asian” options. Our go to has been Izunami and excited to now have another place. We did tasting menu 1&2. Which were amazing. The crepe was a stand out for me. The short rib was great too. The drinks were amazing; Karley is a wonderful bartender. Friendly and attentive even when she got slammed with orders. The staff were all super nice; shout out to Amy.Highly recommend and will be back.
