Newly arrived in Eldorado, we were looking for a restaurant nearby for dinner. We stumbled upon Arable at the Agora market, tucked in the back corner. The food was delicious! I had the bison bolognese and my husband had the spicy chicken Alfredo. Both with homemade pasta!!! The salad we ordered as an appetizer was crispy and perfectly dressed which is not always the case. The service was prompt and the staff was delightful and friendly. Light piano music in the background set a tranquil mood and allowed for conversation. We were so impressed that we went back a couple of days later (still not unpacked!!). We both had the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Absolutely as tender as we've ever had! the mashed potatoes were buttery and the sprouts were crisp perfection. The server, Jiang (sorry if I misspelled!) was professional and attentive. A second 5 star experience within a week!! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you Arable!

Arable is now open for lunch, so a friend and I tried it yesterday. They're carving out a new identify in what I would call local gastropub food, and succeeding nicely. My burger was delicious, clearly freshly ground beef and cooked just right, with a lovely brioche-style bun and fresh sides, plus very good skinny fries. My friend's salad was beautifully presented and a nice combination of flavors, also fresh. And the dessert our waiter suggested--a pear tart--really shone. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the place is comfortable and well-appointed, with a nice neighborhood feel. Give the new Arable a try--you won't be sorry!

The food was spectacular, Ben the bartender is the best, and the atmosphere was outstanding. The pris fixe menu for $75 was a great deal. Hands down the best New Year’s Eve meal I’ve has in a long time!

We have always enjoyed the food at the "old" Arable and are happy to see that the restaurant is making another go at it. We ate there on New Year's Eve, a tough night for even the most established restaurants. All the tables were full and the staff was hustling and doing their best. There were small mistakes, but understandable given the newness of the restaurant and the pressure of the evening. This was a prix-fixe menu. Overall the food was good to excellent. I particularly enjoyed our filet-mignon en croute. The steak was tender, flavorful, cooked as requested in a very credible puff pastry. I chose the pistachio tiramisu in orange sauce. A diversion from the normal. Not my favorite, but kudos to the chef for being innovative. I look forward returning again to a more seasoned restaurant.

Wonderful service! Very kind employees. I went on a slow night and was the only customer in there but I can imagine that they would be just as personable in a full and busy restaurant.

It seems they are under the shadow of the previous owner since they have carried on with the name Arable. I can understand the negative comments about the current Arable but lots of them are not exactly fair. This was our second time there since they reopened and I would have to say that it was a totally different set of staff working there again while the food quality was similar. My companion enjoyed his Bison Bolognese pasta and I liked my Pork chop although it was a bit undercooked for my taste. The service was great, specially our waitress who was extremely friendly and helpful. The decor and the atmosphere are now different than the original Arable. But I can see that they are trying. It’s just that they might not have found their own identity.

I don't like to leave less than 4 or 5 star reviews but I'm hoping the owner sees this and can turn this place around before it's too late. This place has the potential to be such a gem, but they just can't seem to get it together. We've been there probably a dozen or more times since they opened. The issues at first we chalked up to being new, but it's way past that now. It's like they can't decide who they want to be. The quality of the ingredients seems to be fine, but then they screw it up in the kitchen. Brussels were so much better at the beginning, and they've tried it w bacon (yum) ; vegetarian with caramelized onions and vinegar, also yum. Now, it's this nasty, greasy half burnt half undercooked glob w about 1/10 a teaspoon of Parm on it. It's nasty. I don't understand why you changed it, but it's gross. So many wonderful options with good sprouts this time of year, it would be so wonderful to have tasty ones again.A few pro tips: French onion soup should not reek of black pepper. It should be sublime and taste of wine and broth and onion. All I can taste is black pepper, and the stock is burnt.Caesar salad should NOT be overrun with cayenne pepper. Why did you start doing that? It's a sacrilege. The lettuce is wilty and limp and all you can taste in the dressing is stale cayenne.. it was SO good at first. Why change it? It's stale cayenne. Omg no. No.The bun should not be served frozen and twice as big as the burger. And so on. You guys have such a great model and so much potential. The space is awesome. The staff is super sweet, but there is nothing cohesive. They literally all seem like they are brand new and I know they've been there as long as we've been going. We should not have to wait an hour for food when there are only 4 other people there and then it's still not right.Final for us was a recent carry out. 2 soups, 1 salad and 1 sprouts was $50. They told us 20 minutes and it took an hour. The bag was so poorly packed the soup spilled all over the car. The sprouts were a mess of oil and grease and just nasty. We tossed them and most of the salad, and lost most of the soup due to the poor pack job. We supplemented our $50 dinner with PB&j because pretty much the whole thing was spilled in the car or simply too disgusting to eat.We won't return any time soon and it' s a bummer because we were so hopeful this would be good. If you can get back to how your kitchen was in the beginning , please respond to this and we'll come try again, but after this and the last carry-out, we are pretty much done .

Excellent food and service. Love the French Onion Soup! Would like them to serve bred with the soup - the better to scoop up the cheese, my dear! Had to ask for the bread. But that's small stuff. I'll be back!

So sad, used to be a great place. We sat for 15 minutes before deciding to leave. They had live music, busser, hostess, and bartender but no server insight.

We just had a great meal at Arable. The calamari appetizer was delicious and it came with a very tasty marinara sauce. The entree we chose was the Pasta Primavera...fresh vegetables, good olive oil and house made linguine. The culmination of the meal was a tasty dessert of profiteroles filled with ice cream and covered with chocolate sauce...yummy! They had a violin player providing the atmosphere and Ben, who is a wonderful, easy going bartender. The menu and chef have recently changed so If you haven't tried this place recently, now is the time.
