I was super impressed to find good Caribbean food in the middle of new Mexico. Fish tacos, harrisa fries and plantains were great! I was disappointed with the lack of flavor in the beans and rice until I found out that if you mix it with the curry sauce that comes with the plantains, it's amazing!

It was very chill. I went in at like 10:40 am. They let me order lunch a little early. And the food was amazing. And the staff were very attentive. Asked me if I needed anything many times..Had the green Chile cheeseburger. It was amazing and the seasoned fries. It was so delectable. Very very good. The burger was perfectly medium rare.I would highly recommend this place..

Really enjoyed the place. The Bison Elk burger was delicious and cooked perfectly per my request. The Green Chile Cheese fries were crisp, delicious and flavorful. The Huevos Rancheros were excellent and served with black beans, great tasting potatoes, delicious Red Chili and plantains fried to sweet and soft perfection. On top of that, the view was great with snow outside the wall high windows going up the hill.

Fries are quite good very much flavored cummin, sweet potatoe ex.Have teas, coffee drinks, soda, beer. In warmer seasons they have outdoor patio seating. Quite enough parking spaces in front off of old las vegas highway/66.Parking: Unless it's packed you'll likely find parking.

I was so glad when Chef Obo opened Jambo Bobcat Bite because it's only about 6 miles from my house. Plus, I love the food at Jambo Cafe in Santa Fe, and there is considerable overlap between the menus at the Cafe and the Bobcat. The food is a fusion of East African, Caribbean, and American styles. Green chile cheeseburgers, falafel burgers, crab burgers, breakfast burritos, potato and sweet potato fries with or without cumin or harissa spices, Caribbean goat stew and lamb burgers, several salads and soup. Today I had the falafel burger with potato fries dusted with harissa spices and my friend had the crab burger with sweet potato fries; neither of us could finish our servings and we took the leftovers home. There is an outdoor dining area and quite a bit seating indoors. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and menu adjustments can be made. I've had breakfast and lunch at the Bobcat and never a poor meal. Chef Obo often visits with diners depending upon which restaurant he's at.

I am very unhappy when I asked for 4 plain cheeseburgers all condiments on the side, the lady even said just cheese and neat, and then my burgers all came slathered in fried onions, and guacamole, and of course the onions were under the cheese, so all 4 of us got no cheese and no bottom bun, didn't realize I was going to have to wipe guacamole offthank God they gave me napkins. It was a damn good burger such a shame we didn't get what we ordered after spending $80 and had to fix everything to make it palatable. I will be working nearby again, but will not go back. The lady who took my order really seemed like she had everything under control, or I would have been a LOT more pushy about making sure they were plain, but plain means plain. Just meat and cheese does not mean meat cheese, guacamole and fried onions. I treated my entire crew here, and watched everyone have to wipe down their burgers, what a joke.

The food was immensely flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through for a satisfying meal and break from a long drive. The back patio was the perfect spot to soak in some sun as well!

Awesome food and service. A fun change in styles, definitely get the crab, the house burger was great, and the harissa fries were excellent. It would be 4 stars for me in the Bay Area because the lettuce was just OK, but then the service would be horrific. The outdoor seating would be perfect once it warms up.
