As a newbie to the El Dorado area, I decided to try this restaurant in the Agora Shopping Center. The lady at the register took my order and they had my food ready for me in less than ten minutes. I decided to try the Greek Feast so I could get some vegetables, protein, hummus, and the sauces all in a serving.It was very pleasing for a NM native raised on beans and chili. The vegetables were fresh and not brown. The meat was succulent and came apart easily with a plastic fork. The warm pita bread, hummus, and the sauce that comes with it made a flavorful combination. The sauces are the underrated stars but used that red sauce sparingly, it’s so good you’ll run out quickly.I’m coming back on payday to try a Cubano and a tuna melt.

I usually go up to Santa Fe once a week for work and this place has been my recent go to for lunch as the food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly. I tried the Cubano the first time I went and it was delicious! After trying the burger though it definitely ranks as my favorite from anywhere around NM! For my next visit I'm looking forward to trying the Gyro
Good food. However, poor customer service. The lady at front/cashier was rude. Acting like an inconvenience for me to be there, and didn't answer my question about the menu. But what really upset me was when I ordered a side of fries. After I paid, I noticed on the menu there were 2 types of fries...crispy and regular. I asked if I got regular and she said she put in crispy (I wanted regular). I don't know why she would in crispy. I asked if that would affect the price, she said yes and was answering the phone at the same time i.e., being rude once more. So I left and got online and noticed the crispy fries were more expensive( so that's why she automatically put in crispy) and didn't alter the price. So she charged me the expensive fries, but I got the cheaper ones. I know it's only a dollar difference, but it's the point (and I even tipped). This was my first time here, could've been a returning customer, but that woman needs to change her attitude!!!!!!!!

The lamb gyro is soooo good! Lots of meat and good amount of salad items in sandwich. I feel fortunate to live nearby. Please keep the lamb gyro on the menu firever!

Really Bad customer service!!! Really Rude person lady up front!!! If you have a restaurant and have a closing time set up I suggest you close at the time!!! I was there before you were closed and I was denied service!!! I don't know or understand why?? Wondering if it had to with racism!!! Therebwas other people before me and all got service!! Except for me and my husband!!!!! Very Rude !! And I felt like it was because I was mexican!! I wasn't attended well!!!!.

Unfriendly uninspired atmosphere with very limited menu. mainly for takeout. I had the gyro which was average although the meat was pretty dry. Canned drinks only.

Nice little takeout spot in Eldorado. The gyro is the big hit here. In my view, the burgers aren't quite up to par compared to what they were when they first opened. The owner is very pleasant and the rest of the crew prepare the food. We need to continue to support local businesses here in eldorado

I live in florida and had the cubano here. The roast pork in the sandwich is the real deal. The Burger has nice crispy edges on the patty. Nice surprise for a rural area.

Carmelita's makes and I might add, a delicious burger and fries and it's worth every nickel spent there. They are a delightful, talented food-wise crew and cannot recommend them highly enough.

My family and I went to this El Dorado restaraunt today for the first time to have lunch there, I had a mushroom burger with grilled onions and swiss cheese. My son had a Gyro sandwich and my wife had the Cubano sandwich. Everything was so great tasting. It's located just outside Santa Fe, Excellent choice. Highly recommend to everyone to go out and try.
