This could be a great place again. Great music but the changes that took away the bar menu killed the outlook for coming more often. It was the best with a full restaurant and menu for that option. And then you had the bar, great music and it’s own food options for greater variety. Maybe you could eat a little less, share some things, have more fine drinks. Now it’s just a choice of drinks and things that are a bit too fancy, large or costly for the vibe.

Always a great experience. Our waiter Paul was attentive without intruding. Isaac, the manager stopped by just to check in. We have the venison—outstanding. The wedge salad was not only good, it was gorgeous. Flan for dessert was homey and satisfying. Come—you will enjoy it.

Started out with the Calamari, it was the BEST we've ever had! Ordered the Venison, Veggie Pasta, Burger and Seabass, we all agreed our meals were DIVINE! Our waiter, Paul was so friendly, polite and informative. The wine list goes on and on!! It's highly recommended to dine here!! EDIT: we went back two days later! Ended up canceling reservations at a high end steak house so we could have one more dinner at La Casa Sena!!

We brought our friends from out-of-town for dinner last evening, as this is one of our favorites for special occasions. The food as usual didn't let us down! Ambiance was lovely with the fireplace going. Thanks for another wonderful evening.

Outstanding meal and margaritas. Chili was excellent. Chicken enchiladas with green chile were yummy. The Cadillac Margarita was awesome. Highly recommend the new menu. Can't wait to return

This was our second visit this month. Our first visit was so enjoyable that we returned with guests. This time we sat in the main dining room which was perfect for conversation. Again the food was outstanding and the service attentive. We would highly recommend.

Great table by the window looking out on the beautiful patio. It was a cold and very windy non patio day. Our service was great. The menu has changed back to more SW-ern Santa Fe style. VG wines by the glass. Tonite we opted for Steak(Filet) and potatoes hearty fare. Delicious! Thank Y'all.

We had heard that La Casa Sena had changed its menu resemble a steak house, versus the Mediterranean-style as posted on their website. Though this was disappointing, the burger and enchiladas were ordered were yummy, but not outstanding as we expected. The piano bar was actually the hit of the evening. Great cocktails and an extremely talented pianist/Kyle made the evening enjoyable.

TaKing out-of-town business associate to dinner. Restaurant was not busy in the middle of the week in mid-February for a 7:00 Pm reservation. Everything about our dining experience was outstanding.

Very delicious food. Every dish we tried was excellent! Congratulations to the chef! We were there twice in one week and our waitresses were great. The quiet jazz music contributes to the calm romantic ambiance. Lovely decor too. It was cold outside when we went making the fire in the fireplace very welcoming.

No restaurant better captures the ambience of Northern New Mexico than La Casa Sena. After some disappointing forays awhile ago into dishes populated with Quinoa and Kale, the menu has returned to more traditional Santa Fe offerings. We both had fish, which was well-prepared and very good, and the service was excellent.

We booked for Nee Year's Eve after closely going over the website and menu. We had friends with us in Santa Fe who joined us — we were a party of four. When we were seated we were presented with a very limited pre-fixe menu and told that a number of items were no longer available. The per-person price was $125 (before drinks) and the menu stated a mandatory 22 percent gratuity would be added to the bill. We were extremely disappointed by the limited menu and being given no choice on how much to tip based on quality of service. Portions for the appetizer and entree were very small. There were not enough service staff and our server had to really hustle. My entree — a small portion of beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes — was lukewarm. Three of us had one cocktail or wine. Our bill was $722 for a disappointing and mediocre experience. We had such high hopes but have nothing good to say except that our server was sweet. No happy new year at La Casa Sena.

Booked La casa Sena NYE because we were told they would have an a La carte menu which was not the case. Limited set menu and the food less than satisfying. Dessert was plain, the chocolate bomb was frozen and too hard to eat, clearly they just took things out of the freezer and served it. I used to love coming here for 30 years and not sure I'll be back. We were also seated in the cantina which is a less formal atmosphere than the main restaurant and was seated near a table of more than 20 with 6 -8 kids we couldn't keep track as they kept moving around as they were playing and yelling. This was a New Year's Eve dinner and I chose this place as it's quiet in the main dining room. If I knew we would be seated in the cantina I would not have booked this. Dinner was NOT worth $125 a person, at best half that. Truly disappointed.

unfortunately the room we were in was very noisy, and we were 5 persons seated at a table for 4 which made it very cramped. I was also surprised that the automatic added gratuity was 22% which i thought was high. There was very little for a vegetarian also on the menu. We had enjoyed our meal etc in November but I would not go again on New Years Eve.

Same NYE menu as the last couple of years so that's getting old. The tenderloin was not memorable. The service while generally good was intermittent to very slow. Overall not a memorable NYE dinner nor birthday dinner.
