After too much Mexican food needed a BBQ place to eat and have a few beers. Arianna served us well. Food was good and the atmosphere mellow , music was enough to hold a conversation. Would highly recommend this place. BUT come hungry !

This place is not good. The service is laughable. Atmosphere is alright, drinks are weak.

@cowgirlsantafe served up my next treat for my #saturday #restaurantreview! Since we drove through Texas, this makes up for the chicken fried steak I didn't get to enjoy while there. This one was really delicious... and we could taste the sweetness of cornbread contrasting the spice of the seasoning just perfectly. The atmosphere made it feel like we were on a ranch and watching our server run around with cowboy boots and a cowboy hat was entertaining (she really has a lot of pep in her step!) The price was also appropriate for the portion given (I enjoyed the leftover for lunch!). Definite 5/5. #gourmetrecovery #santafenm #santaferestaurants

We ate at Cowgirl twice during our stay in Santa Fe! My sister and I have severe food allergies and our server, Martin, helped us find menu items that did not include allergens and coordinated with the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. We enjoyed both meals at Cowgirl and will definitely come back when we visit Santa Fe again!Dietary restrictions: Food allergy friendly

Excellent service. Every time I go I have to be attended to by very friendly staff, especially the person who served us when we arrived spoke Spanish and treated us very kindly, her name is Ruby Resive, the people always have smiles, the food is delicious ?

This place is quintessential Santa Fe! Starting with the ambiance which is an old house (we're talking 100 years at least) converted with old photos/etc in every room to let one know it, to the very local staff and casual Southwest feel, to the actual menu items, one can not help recall the experience for many years beyond the date of a visit. I ate the Chile Rellenos. Christmas, of course. Even the rice and beans (included) were fabulous! They have an extensive list of designer tap beers and the waiter was very knowledgeable, offering suggestions which proved to be perfect every time. I'd eat here every day if I could.

Bbq is the most bland bbq I’ve had in awhile. How do you ruin ribs, brisket and chicken all in one sitting??

I gotta say I had given up on Cowgirl for a few years due to bad service but after giving it another shot I will be returning. Cesar was our server and gave exceptional service. I can’t remember the last time I had a server that was as attentive as him.

This was our second lunch at the Cowgirl, and it was good. Husband enjoyed his hamburger with just so-so slaw (vinegar based and dry) and amazing fries (I'm not supposed to have fried foods, but what I tasted was memorable!). My pork slider was huge, topped with dry slaw, which helped diminish the spicy pork. Thankfully a gentleman at the table near us recommended sour cream. Perfect! It enhanced the flavor and took away the fire. The place is definitely comfortable and has plenty of cowgirl touches. The outside was too sunny, even though it was a cool day. We sat inside, at a table for two, near the bar and other tables. Service was not so great. The gentleman helping us also had the bar, the 2 tables next to us, and tables around the corner. Husband only wanted mayonnaise and lettuce. He got pickles, tomatoes, lettuce and no mayonnaise. It was a wait for mayonnaise packets and my sour cream. We needed the bill quickly as the only place to park was at a meter. I needed to go to the bar, and waited patiently for our check as he cashed out another customer. Our parking spot was a block away, and the meter charged a quarter for every 7 minutes. We only had $2 in change. We made it back just as it hit zero minutes.

Fastest food service I have ever had! I had the roasted beet soup which was delicious. Great live music and fun atmosphere.
