Went during restaurant week.We went to the sushi side.Service was great and presentation was great. The flaming salmon baked roll was so fun. The sashimi was really good. The sushi rice was just alright. We really likedLiked the real wasabi. Sashimi tartar was good as well as the fried banana. Nothing extraordinary about those two dishes. I didn't know I would say this but the miso soup was the best I have ever had. The broth was so flavorful. The 3 sake sampler was really fun too.

Another great meal in a bar booth with the fab Nacha Mendez playing beautiful music. The short-rib ragu, delish. Ditto on the branzino. Pizzas terrific. Service warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to Leslie, Lena and others for making each trip feel special.

Our third time there but this time we decided not to come back anymore. Service was so slow, people were nice but they didn't let us order sushi (2 orders of a simple sushi roll) from the restaurant for my daughters. Food was really bad! Overcooked pasta, salty and too spicy oysters spaghetti, my husband couldn't even finish it. And even though he said those thing to them they still charged us for the bad spaghetti. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Went for SF Restaurant week. I had the Arugula and Pear salad, which had spring mix and some arugula. I also had the Rainbow trout with Quinoa cake which was Great! Overall, the food and service were good, but something about the ambiance just didn't hit. Maybe the lights were too bright? no music? seating wasn't real cozy? We used to dine at El NIdo way back when, so I guess we were expecting more of the historic setting.

The steak here was one of the best steaks I've ever tasted.Just a couple of things to note, it is very expensive and the parking situation is a little tight, so I would try to get there early of you can.

Our large family group went to El Nido during restaurant week. What a lovely evening we had. Good food, nice ambiance and good service. Cocktails were excellent and it was Wine Wednesday so we had a great bottle of wine for 1/2 price. The appetizers were particularly excellent. We had the artichokes and some of us had the pear and arugula salad. Highly recommend.

Such an awesome meal! We declined the prix fix menu and instead did our own sampling for 5 of us: short-rib ragu with tagliatelle, green-chile burger, Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, spinach gnocchi, sweet-potato hash, beet salad, pizza. Plus dessert. What a feast! Lena was a fab server, and Carlos greeted us at door. This place is a treasure.

Sat at bar for 5 minutes while the tenders mixed drinks. Busy. The salad was really good. The artichoke was pickled., that's all you could taste. The chicken was ok, breast was dry. Veggies were good. Poblano tasted just delightful. Like a pepper should. Dessert was really delicious. Chocolate cake and ice cream. Flan was perfect. Sur charge $3 for a Large Ice cube in drink. Wow! Dining out is just pricey these days

Four of us spent a very pleasant evening dining at El Nido the day after Valentine's Day. The food and wine were excellent, and we had a booth in the bar, which has a nice atmosphere. The servers were great.

Overall was OK, I was there for Valentine's Day and the menu was fixed, the filet was outstanding the rest was ok. Not much creativity from the menu , service was poor for the money we paid. Not sure if I will go back. The frizzed salad with poached egg and duck confit was a total scam! Poached egg was a hard boiled egg, the frizzed was mix greens, the duck... not sure was there!

Amazing and unique menu incorporating Mexican, Southwest, French and American cuisine. The food was fantastic, especially the stuffed artichoke hearts and Burnt Basque Cheesecake! Extensive wine list, including two vintages of Royal Tokai. The service was friendly and attentive. A must for any visitor to Santa Fe!
