Mediocre service and food. We had four meals and everyone voted it a 3/10. The fish tasted like an over crowded mud bottom pond. Easily the worst fish I've ever eaten and I'm 58 and come from a fishing family. The house mole was very good. The salad was good. They don't serve mescal. It's our first and last visit. It's hilariously way too expensive for the quality of the food.

Outstanding vegan options. A chance to try virtually entire menu, including 5 different mole sauces (traditional chocolate, yellow yucca, and more), enchiladas, tamales, and more. A rare opportunity. Delicious and healthy.

The food was not bad. The service awful- so is the atmosphere. Most staff barely speak English , not seem to care to explain. You will have no idea what they add in your food. I ordered a vegan poblanos Taco. Asked the “server” four times to make sure it is vegan. He assure me. When I tasted it , it does taste like cheese. I called the same server and asked him— “All Vegan “ he said. I asked a young lady who speaks English and she stated it actually has a oxana cheese and confirmed with the cook.I’m nauseating and not sure how I feel.He went and hide in the kitchen. They refused to bring him to the serving area to explain. Declined to give out the name and the manager.

Phenomenally delicious food! We had the Oaxacan Mole Chicken Enchiladas and the Yucca Vegan Tamale, as well as the guacamole. Staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is so nice and welcoming. Will absolutely be back and can’t wait to try more options!

The different mole varieties were each so unique and flavorful. Varied kids menu, too.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegan, replacing meats with a variety of vegetables (squash, mushrooms, tofu, and others)

Highly recommend the Mole de Oaxaca ?? Best mole I've ever had. The rice is so fluffy and flavorful. I would eat here weekly if I could. Atmosphere is colorful and cosy with handpainted decor. They also have many vegan options and the dairy-free pastel de queso y limon is impressively firm and delicious.

Customer service needs to get better need to be a little quicker on bringing out drinks and appetizers before they bring out the main course also their menu needs to be open up a little bit more to the foods from that City

This place is a gem! The flavors are unique, complex and absolutely delicious! The owner and all the staff are very warm and welcoming. Many bonus points for having almost the entire menu available as vegan dishes. Love Fiesta Oaxaca!

Updated review: my family and I used to love the food here until recently. The tortillas are no longer the same as the in house made ones, the other day they were thin undercooked and tasteless. The mole Oaxaca no longer had the traditional flavor and the burrito was soggy and flavor was basic. This used to be the best Mexican restaurant in New Mexico.

My husband and I have come multiple times from Co just to eat here for date night! It’s that good!! These were the best vegan enchiladas I’ve ever had!!! I think about his restaurant all the time!! I honestly come from Co to Santa Fe just to eat here, hike and look at cool art. I’m obsessed with the whole menu! The staff are always so kind and helpful. I LOVE coming here, it feels like a family atmosphere. I’ve seen families, artists, solo diners, couples and everybody in the restaurant is happy because the vibes are great and the food is even better. If they release a cookbook I’ll be first in line to buy it!!Vegetarian options: The menu had many vegan and vegetarian options.

I’m writing this review about soup, not because it is necessarily the best thing on the menu, the mole may have that lofty distinction. No, I’m writing about the soup because it is hidden on the last page, long past the specials, moles, entrees and salads. The soups share a lonely place just before the beverages. There they were. There it was. Mixteca. Poblano, mushroom, carrot, tomatoes, potatoes and tomatoes again, per the menu. It came to the table steaming, a veritable cauldron of heavenly broth and vegetables. From first spoonful to last it was just right. The moles were great too. But don’t sleep on the soups. Don’t assume because they are listed in between salad and horchata, they are a second thought. They are not. The soup soups. Will be back.
