This place is no longer operational as a buisness. Please do not waste your time trying to come here

What a brilliant hidden gem! The menu is not extensive and simple, yet enough. The first time being here I ordered a bubble waffle as well as a lavender and rose boba tea. The tea was delicate and flavorful and the bubble waffle was a completely new and satisfying experience. The atmosphere has a cozy and almost "homey" vibe to it. It's a great little place to come and relax and simply be. I certainly recommend for everyone.

Lion and honey was everything I expected, the iced tea “purple haze” was amazing! They even added CBD oil to it! But the honey waffles were even more amazing definitely coming back.. super close to my job!

Went twice. The first time there were several young employees, all super sweet, but it looked like they made an iced latte with shots going directly in the plastic takeaway cup so that when the bottom was warped/melted when I received. When I showed them, they poured the drink in a new cup right away and were very friendly about it, but obviously I didn't love the thought of any residual melted plastic from the original cup. Still, I wasn't going to be difficult about it so said thanks and took my drink in the new cup without asking them to rebrew. In retrospect, I should have just let things lie after the first experience! It was enough to tell me this wasn't a great spot but nothing especially upsetting. However, for some reason I want back a second time. There was just one person working there (not one of the folks from the first day, but someone who seemed like a manager or something). I asked for the same iced latte but asked if he could please brew the espresso separately and then pour over the ice/milk (which I think is SOP most places). Rather than say ok or even tell me that's what he was planning on doing, he gave me a look like my request was out of line. So I tried to explain what had happened the last time, but he was not having it. I don't know if he thought I was trying to tell him how to do his job or what, but the attitude made me feel like I was being unreasonable. I don't normally write negative reviews (I think this is my first one!), but I was just trying to get a latte that didn't come in a melted cup, and the whole experience left me feeling icky. Still two stars for the kind staff the first day, and it seems like if you're going for the various novelty items rather than coffee could be a cute find.

Super awesome place. Art on the walls. Good service and polite staff. And best of all, the yummy bubble waffles!

This place was pretty good. I ordered a sandwich which was about what you would expect for for its price. It was pretty cheap but it took a pretty long time just to make a single sandwich. Also the bread was toasted but it was on the verge of being burnt. Overall an okay experience.

Fantastic little place! Pretty laid back place with cool artwork all around. A few seats outside too. Bubble waffle was delish, and the thai tea was aight (I like mine sweeter usually). Customer service was good.

Lion and Honey in Santa Fe, NM is an eclectic gem with quality menu items, drinks, desserts and a candy selection that would impress Willy Wonka. I am a huge fan of their sandwiches because they use artisan breads, quality meats and are made with love. While the reputation for beverages continues to spread across town, their sandwich shop deserves an equal nod.
