My mother used to take me here since I was 3 years old, I was greeted immediately and bought some pan to take home to Rio Rancho. Still amazing 24 years later. Don’t know what the earlier reviews were complaining about I’m glad this place is still around.

I was passing through Santa Fe and decided to stop at this panadería. Found the best cochinito (pig cookie) I've had in a long time! Perfect combo of soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Highly recommend. It was so good that I wish I'd bought more. I have yet to try the pumpkin empanada, so will have to update this once I've eaten that tomorrow. The panadería is not self-serve at this time, but that wasn't a problem as long as you're ok with naming or pointing at things and having an employee bag things up for you. The gentleman behind the counter was so, so kind and chatted with me or answered all my questions while packing up the pan dulce in a bag. Also, added bonus: prices here are extremely reasonable. Only gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I was hoping the concha would be a bit more moist, but it heated up well at home and was nice and squishy/soft after warming it up. Still enjoyed it!

We don’t have any panaderias in our area, so we were excited to stop in for some pan dulce. We got home and every piece we’ve tried so far is old, stale, crumbly and doesn’t taste good. I’m so disappointed! While there I also got some gorditas for the road, but the meat was also dry! We won’t be returning here unfortunately.

Every time I try something new in Santa Fe, I get disappointed. This place fooled me because when you Google it, it shows almost 5 stars but the 5 star reviews were from a few years ago.I went today and was throughly disappointed!! All the pastries and bolillo were stale, dry, hard and disgusting! Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere. Aren't these bakeries monitored in any way? Why are they selling old product? This is definitely NOT a way to run ANY business! I can't even get my money back, so I'll try and get some satisfaction writing this review, hoping someone will be saved from going to this place.

The bread is old and hard as a rock I took it back I told her she could keep the money just wanted to show her what she sold me.

Conchas are perfect!

I wish I had read the previous reviews which ACTUALLY explained their rating. The 5 star reviews say NOTHING. My daughter spent $22 on old, stale and inedible pastries and tortillas. The cherry empanada had some unidentifiable yellow goo in the middle. EVERYTHING was bad and inedible. One of the front windows was broken out and had cardboard covering it.

They sold my daughter and I old, dry and inedible pastries. Way too expensive for items that should have already been disposed of. $22 for a package a OLD tortillas, concha, cake, empanada, cookie, and pancacita. Terrible inedible food.

We just paid $16 for some bread and it was all hard as a rock.

I dogged my bro Connor and then the hot sauce dogged me at the benches in front of the neighboring Arby's. The food here was absolutely scrumptious and bussin. I really enjoyed the chocolate concha and my watermelon Arizona. I also tried my buddy Tim's burrito and that's when I got dogged by the hot sauce. I also thought that owner that gave us our food was very friendly and made the experience more enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend.

If you're looking for something fresh and good, like a churro, this is not the place. It was soggy, cold, gross. One had red filling in it?

Delicious pastries and very cheap! We got an array of 6 for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The owners are very sweet too. A must try!
