Santacafe did a wonderful job creating a lovely, small, unique 50th birthday. Mocktails for the table and a lovely slice of lemon cake. They made it a terrific celebration.

Santacafe was a find for us as tourists to Santa Fe. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Denise who, on an especially busy night, went out of her way to ensure that our reservation request to sit at a quiet table was honored. And then the food was truly delicious. We both ordered the seared salmon with orzo and spinach. It was additionally flavored with an out of this world tomato jam. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. All and all a lovely evening out.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night! Like many two person tables in Santa Fe, it seemed a bit overly crowded seating wise (since it used to be a house). While on the more expensive side, the food was great and our waiter was attentive. We even got to try a sampling of a dessert wine! We will definitely be back when we have friends/family in town.

Christopher was an excellent server, very accommodating. This restaurant can modify dishes for allergies and has a gluten free menu too which my wife enjoyed. Would definitely recommend.

The service was amazing, our server was so attentive and kept checking in on us. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a great time. They're currently doing some renovations in the patio area and I can't wait to go back to experience again in the warmer weather.

I chose SantaCafe for a sweet birthday celebration dinner with a dear friend who is moving from Santa Fe. It needed to be quiet enough to open gifts, a Santa Fe ambience for a memory to last a lifetime, and caring service. SantaCafe more than exceeded these expectations. The food was impeccable as always (there is no better Mushroom soup, anywhere). The service was attentive without being intrusive, A perfect memory for her to carry to her next home. Thank you, SantaCafe.

Usually enjoy the food here. Less so this time. Steak frites was a massive plate of french fries with the meat on the edge. Fries were covered in a sauce, which was tasty, but made the fries soggy very quickly. Meat was very good, but the fries were so visually and physically overwhelming, I lost interest. Couldn't even make a dent. Also: tipflation. It's getting out of control! Automatic $4 kitchen appreciation charge added to bill. Why? I don't know what's going on back there. Could be a hairnet-free, food-dropping, scratch-fest going on back there for all I know. I also assume they are compensated quite differently than the serving staff (which typically get nowhere near a living wage). Price the menu items appropriately so that you can pay your kitchen staff what they deserve. That's not my job. Yes, the menu states that they will remove the charge if asked. They probably assume you won't make a fuss in front of your friends/guests. Instead of that going through that drama, I just subtracted $4 from what I would have tipped.

We love Santacafe, but I do not like having to go through two verifications to give my response to your survey! Please know that we'll return to your restaurant but NOT to your surveys!!!

The menu has barely changed in a long time. Wines are always good but the service this time was indifferent, presentation not up to par compared to previous visits. If you're new to SC by all means check it out. But our enthusiasm has waned.

Dining at my Santa cafe the night after canyon cafe put us in a bit of a quandary. Both so excellent. Have to say the special touch of the nice sparking drink as well as the later amuse bouche tipped a bit toward Santa?!

We visited SantaCafe during Restaurant Week and opted for the special menu for that week. The price for a 3-course dinner was $70 per person. We should have chosen to order the same food from the regular menu because, as I perused the menu later, it would have been a bit less expensive. And then there was another charge of $4.00 for the kitchen staff. Food was good but one expects a special menu to be a tad cheaper during Restaurant Week. We have been much happier in the past at SantaCafe.

Pork tenderloin was good. Steak frites was a ripoff. Not a $$ restaurant. Kinda pricey. Great service.
