Wonderful find! Extensive menu for such a small restaurant, soup flights (!), fresh salads, sandwiches, vegan options, lovely staff/owner. Parking is a challenge, but don't let that stop you from finding this place.

I went to Soup Star today on the recommendation of a foodie friend. I had chicken noodle soup and a Philly steak sandwich, both were outstanding. I will be going back regularly now, twice per week or more. Highly recommended!

An absolute gem. Great funky atmosphere, great service by none other than the owner (it's a husband/wife team) , and the food was exceptional. Chef/owner is a veteran local chef. Don't hesitate to visit this off-the-beaten-path treat!

My husband and I stopped by this afternoon for soup to-go. We were greeted warmly and kindly. We ordered the mushroom soup, green chile chowder, and green chile sausage lentil soup. All three were delicious. The mushroom was simply outstanding!!

I am mystified by the positive reviews. I was served a flight of tepid, watery soups by a grim server in an atmosphere reminiscent of a mid-century rumpus room. Disturbing, weird experience.
