Excellent wine selections, super cute and charming restaurant, the food was excellent, I had Shepards pie and it was perfection, large amount of beef inside the dish, and they also had the best cheese-cake I have ever had !!

The food is very good, although portions are small. Wine list is extensive, but there are not many choices available by the glass. Service was excellent. I was sorry to find that they had discontinued their happy hour.

We always love going to Terra Cotta and make it a point to recommend to friends and out of town guests every chance we get. Glenda and Linda are most gracious owners/hosts and we always are made to feel at home. Best wine menu and value in town!

We have to say, Terracotta Wine Bistro was a wonderful find. Near downtown Santa Fe, this is an intimate, upscale casual bistro with a diverse wine menu, outstanding apps, salads, soups (particularly the French Onion soup and lobster bisque.) More treats await with entrees such as the pork schnitzel and flounder. If you're fortunate, as we were, your server will be Janet. Classy, warm, totally patron centered, and a great representation of the Terracotta culture. The whole experience was top notch and definitely a huge repeater for us next time in Santa Fe!

Very cozy ambiance with a great wine selection. There was someone playing instrumental music when we were there. The food lacked flavor in my opinion. I had the flounder which was fried (I didn’t notice this when ordering). But this apart, the fish could have had more seasoning on it. The kids had the fried chicken tenders. I found it a little pricey for what it offered: 3 pieces of chicken with a side sauce for $15. We also paid $3 for a box apple juice for the kids. I don’t think it’s a kids friendly place so I’d recommend that you go without kids.

I instantly feel relaxed the moment I enter. Wonderful wine list. Some of the dishes could be better - but at least they are not outrageously priced, like so many similar restaurants in town.

Exceptional experience at TerraCotta Wine Bistro on Christmas! Janet was attentive and delightful, providing great recommendations on wine to pair with our dinner. Food, wine, service, ambience all wonderful.

A beautiful experience at TerraCotta with delicious food and outstanding service in a cozy welcoming setting. The Prix Fixe pork schnitzel was perfectly presented with colorful vegetables and flavorful potato chunks. Caesar salad and decadent chocolate lava cake completed my hearty meal for a reasonable price followed by fine port. Soft live guitar and holiday decor added to the ambience.

I have eaten here before, and enjoyed it, but food was not as impressive as I remembered it. Portions of both salad and entree were small, and the Portuguese pasta was a dud-- a miniscule amount of clams, too much sausage, and the ingredients just didn't hang together as a coherent dish. Service and ambience were great, though, and they have the best wine list in town.

We were there on a quiet night. The planked salmon was just ok and partly cooked too long (not medium), nothing special. My wifes cheese board had tiny portions of 4 cheeses. Way underportioned. Service was attentive and fast.

Our server, Janet, was attentive, friendly and professional. We started with sharing a bowl of pumpkin soup, earthy and delicious. The Shepherds pie had a hearty bold flavor and the pan seared flounder was light and flavorful. The molten chocolate was lava delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This was a holiday menu for Thanksgiving, so a critique of the food or even the ambiance is hard to state. That said, the food was excellent, as was the service. The staff paid attention to all the little things, such as personally calling to confirm that I understood the seating was at the bar, and personally calling the day before. Nearly all businesses let the autotext bot handle confirmations (not unlike OpenTable that prefers automation to user calls).

Fantastic flounder, Casa salad, chocolate molten dessert and Key lime pie. Tremendous wine menu with knowledgeable staff. Warm ambiance with friendly staff. Comfort food with flair!!! One of my favorite Santa Fe eateries.
